Zero Knowledge – [Name Removed] is great at selling his over priced goods, however his knowledge of gardening is close to [Content Removed]. This guy makes[Content Removed]gardeners with little knowledge. I have been gardening extensively for 50 years, and I foundries knowledge basic at best. his answers your immediately blocked. Aussie Gardener is a complete ripoff, theres loads of better websites out there with far more knowledge and detailed information than this salesman dressed up as a wanna be gardener .
Be very careful when ordering – I thought I had placed an order for all 4 planters. Turns out I have paid $115.00 for a single planter!!!!!!! Nobody to blame but myself, grrrrrr. Show details

Makes life easy for a 74 year old !! – Love the power planters. I have two and they make gardening so much easier for me I don’t have to ask for help in digging a hole. I also use it for stirring up the compost bin Show details
An impressive piece of equipment! – We live on a sometimes dry clay hill. And this is so helpful. lf we have to plant in summer using this makes heavy work a dream. Highly recomend this product! Show details
High quality – A high quality tool. Use it for all my digging. You need a firm grip. One day I'll buy my own drill so won't have to borrow hubbys!! Small holes, large holes, very very very stubborn weeds, it handles them all.

Warning- you can hurt yourself with this thing – It’s interesting to see the mountain of positive reports about this product on the suppliers website. Could that be because they remove any negative comment immediately , rather than offering any sort of a response ? That’s what they have just done to my comment , removed in less than 24 hours. Yesterday , their ad popped up on my Facebook page… Read more
and I was again really concerned that they illustrate and promote this device as safe to use in a cordless drill without an ancillary stabilising handle . Although their demonstration video shows the unit being operated with two hands in loose soil conditions , they clearly state that it is safe to operate with one hand only in all soil conditions , and promote it as such in their advertising. It is not. Especially in compacted soil conditions. In these conditions , the torque setting has to be cranked up in order to keep the auger rotating , to the extent that the drill will just rip itself out of your hand if the auger is stopped by something such as a stone , tree root , or even more heavily compacted soil , twisting your wrist in the process. This is exactly what happened to me when I first used this device. It took 3 weeks for my wrist to come good after that incident, but it could easily have been worse. I am not a novice with power tools , have been using them for over 50 years in everything from general carpentry to wooden boat building and fine woodworking. If it can hurt me , it can hurt most people . Unfortunately , you cannot just go to Bunnings and buy a handle for your existing cordless drill , most of the handyman level units do not even include them in a new purchase. So , it’s all very well that you can buy the auger for $89 , but you will likely need to go out and spend at least $200 - $300 on a new drill with an ancillary support handle , so not a cheap exercise in total. Perhaps that is the reason that they refuse to acknowledge this issue. This thing is a useful tool , I have used it successfully since buying a new drill with a secondary support handle. However , I consider the conduct of the supplier to be quite disgraceful ,not only for refusing to acknowledge advice of this safety issue , but more so for deleting any reference to it raised in good faith in an effort to prevent people from being injured.

False advertising – Foolishly, we purchased 3 of the planters believing they would all come in handy. We paid $260 believing this would make life easy.. in dry soil it was absolute rubbish Show details

Useless in hard soils – I purchased the 324H model Works in soft soils or turning compost piles but so does a garden fork. Don't bother buying if wanting to use in true unturned soil. Advice from seller for hard soil is to '.....dig a hole and soak with water overnight.....' before using the Power Planter........ pretty much an admission that it doesn't work as advertised Up to you if you want to waste your money Show details

What an amazing piece of kit – I used my power planter for the first time today and my life has changed. Should have purchased this tool years ago. I am revegetating a 5 hectare paddock and each year I plant another 200 trees. I was able to plant 100 trees today: a task that would normally take me at least 5 days. Using the power planter was very easy and made the job extremely efficient and far less taxing on my 63 year old hands, arms and shoulders. Show details
Power planter – What an awesome piece of gear , makes digging in my garden beds a dream !! Don’t know how we got on without it for all these years, it stirs up all the compost and soil beautifully.

the power planter – Some years ago I had an accident on a farm and now have a right arm that is pretty much useless, no motor control of fingers, unable to grasp anything with my right hand, limited movement of arm etc. I bought a power planter, originally just the standard small one because I struggle to use a shovel, unable to use a crow bar or a pick or mattock. 307 power planter – Awesome tool, does exactly what it was sold as to do , can't see any reason why anyone could give a bad review about this product if its used correctly, Thanks Aussie Gardener. Show details
Wow its effortless! – I live on acreage and ordered the 4 piece set, it has been a dream for my back. I have had such success with planting. I loaned my drill and biggest blade to a friend on acreage with a bad back to plant some trees. He raved about its ease and the time saved, so we bought the full set for his big birthday! work on their gardens as well. Its been a few years and with such great product quality the whole set is still in great shape.
So many uses from planting, digging trenches, weeding and retaining walls – Have had the 3 pack of power planters for a couple of almost 4 years now and thought it was a good time to review them from someone who has used them over and over. They all in awesome condition still, including all the welds and the hex head which goes into he drill chuck. I have not been kind to these things, but they don't complain. I used the… Read more
big one to turn over all 3 of my huge garden beds, was awesome at both cultivating the soil and pulling all the weeds to at the same time. Great for digging post holes in hard to reach areas where a shovel/mattock can't get in - even used it for digging a lunch trench for running conduit underground.
The best garden tool ever – Makes turning the garden soil over so simple I use it to turn my compost also , you do need good arm and wrist strength to use it but it truly is the most fabulous tool. Show details
Time Saver – Great product our community garden at school had been neglected and become overrun with weeds, but in very little time and with little effort with the Power Planter 312 we now have 12 ready to go garden beds. Show details · 1

One of the best garden tools I have ever purchased – I have arthritis in my hands and with this tool I don't have to dig a hole, especially when the ground can be rock hard! I have recommended this to several of my friends and they all love it too. Thank you
Amazing Power Planters – I have had my power planter set for years - soon after they were advertised - and they have and still are great for digging holes in my basalt country. I used them to loosen the soil around my old house stumps -the house is only 800mm high- when we restumped the house in 2018 and it made a difficult job a breeze. I reckon I have planted a thousand or more plants with it and it is still works just as well as when it was new. Fantastic product!!
Great helper – Easy to use even for an 80 plus lady Makes digging so much easier Do not know how I ever managed without it Would recommend it to everyone Great seller Show details

First thing I needed from a years storage – I've used and loved my PP tools since 2018. My movers , I think, took a shine to them too and after a year of storage, so disappointing not to find them and ordered almost the set again. This time it's clay soil, not volcanic and yes it's harder to work. I also didn't find the handle till after I'd ordered another. To the person who thought you… Read more
couldn't get a handle from Bunnings..you can through a special order 25 or so NZ dollars.I really missed that handle and would always suggest strongly that you get one. Also, if you can't get the drill through hardpacked dry soil, then I defy you to try a shovel. Wetting the soil is something I'll do in a tough area too or it can't be done by me at all. These tools are the best thing ever, especially the 324. Also best service from this company always. Living on a lifestyle block of fields means starting from scratch again. I could not and would not even attempt landscaping without the power planter.
Best Mother's Day Gift Ever!!! – My sons brought the Power Planter as a Mother's Day Gift and I would have to say it's the best gift they have ever brought me. It's a game changer, makes digging in the garden so easy and saves so much time (and my back!). Highly recommend this product. Show details
