Powertech Mains Power Meter with Extendable LCD Display MS-6108

I really cannot make head nor tail of all these displays and setting needed – I have used a similar device previously and managed to get it functioning well but this device seems very complicated. Press this and that and this and that and figures showing and disappearing????? . Maybe for tech experts extensive requirements but far too complicated for me. Then it does not seem to give me the time it has been measuring the power used. It says weekly and yearly measurements when I need it to say it has been running for 1 hour or 6 hours etc. If I put this review up I live in hope Jay Car or someone can give me some advice. When I look at the displays as I have for hours and hours to try to work it out, things show and then disappear. All I really need is to enter .28 cents per kw hour and to show how many hours it has been running for. I paid 29.oo from Jaycar, I have the receipt somewhere, if requested. Pulled it out to try again 2 years later but it has completely stopped working, no batteries to replace etc. Dreadful.
