learn that they’re not actually Australian-based, but offshore, which caused major communication delays due to the time difference. I was asked to pay upfront before any service was provided — which I did — but after that, it was very difficult to get any proper response or progress.

They repeatedly claimed they couldn’t access my MYOB account, even though I provided access multiple times. This dragged on for more than a week with no results. In the end, I had to resolve the issue myself with help from others.

When I asked for a refund, they refused, citing a “no refund” policy and offering only excuses instead of solutions. Even OneFlare, who I initially engaged the service through, contacted them directly on my behalf to try to help me obtain even a partial refund. However, Peter from Prestige refused completely and made it clear there would be no refund under any circumstance.

It was disheartening to see such poor service and lack of accountability. The support from OneFlare was absolutely amazing — they were responsive, understanding, and genuinely tried to help — but unfortunately, Prestige Australian Financial Services took my payment and provided no value in return.

I’m sharing this review to help others make an informed decision before engaging with them.

I would be very concerned providing this company any personal data. They outsource their work outside of Australia. If you are looking for financial advise, you won't recieve it here, maximum tax return that is easy to do yourself. Expertise is questionable.

Sent a bill for an enquiry – I made an enquiry as to how much they would charge to complete my wife's sole trader tax return next thing I know I have a bill sent to me for that amount. I am hoping it was a mistake and not an attempt to fleece money out of someone.

Very disappointed – Paid [Name Removed] $250.00 for the promise of retirement advice which I did not receive. Instead he suggested I contact my superannuation fund. He refused to give a refund for no advice given

Maria worked with me til 12.15am to submit my tax on time – Got let down by another accounting firm (Honest & Young) to get last 3 years tax done within a specified time but couldn't. Asking for payment too early – I had received an email asking for payment of the invoice before scoping of the amount of work was required. Clearly not what was discussed on the phone. Terrible customer service.

Horrible service – Sent a tax invoice with a 'one time discount of 10% off your invoice if it is paid by credit card before close of business July 10, 2019' before we had even employed their services. Strongly not recommended their services
