Bought online for $19, seemed a good buy, but wouldn't even turn on – They were badly packed, nothing to stop it being jarred in transit. Looked fine outside. Tried new batteries - zero. Money and postage refunded, but total waste going into landfill.
Digital scales with multiple data read outs – Had these scales for a few weeks now and am quite pleased with them. Made the purchase due to being highly rated compared to other digital scales. They provide information not only on actual mass but also percentage of body fat and percentage of water and percentage of muscle mass. They can be present for numerous people as you need to input data into them such as your age, gender and height. They operate on small watch batteries. They are turned off by using your toes on some buttons on the top of it and turn themsselves off after a few seconds. Overall would recommend these scales. Look nice. Turn themselves off a bit too quick.
Bad – This is a fairly good scale to have at home. It has some other interesting selections on it, like you can choose body fat analyser and you can also weigh in pounds or kilos. Overall, I bought it on sale at a really good price (Harris Scarfe often has really good sales on these electronic scales) and find it very useful in the home. This is the first digital scale I have bought. It seems to work pretty well and you can program it for individual settings so each person can set their own details. I dont know if I have done something, but if I weigh myself and then weigh myself in about 10minutes, I can weigh up to 2 kilos more. I dont know how that happens. I know that because its digital, I am always tempted to weigh myself everytime I pass by the scale in my home.
