Terrible – dosent go but if it did the whole family will be using it and telling every one how great he proteus treadmills are my treadmill has just stopped.i borrowed it from my brother used it once and now it wont go.could you tell me if there is somthing simple it could be and where do i get it fixed,im in colac victoria dosent go
Great machine! No problems! – Had it for 6 years and it's still running great, the kids were using it as well. Very easy to pack away and a great way to keep fit when the sun isn't out shining. Reliable, strong motor, good safety system Was a little expensive, the screws come loose easily on the storage roller wheels

Hi! I had the same problem until I ran the power through an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator). This prevented power spikes from disrupting the machine. Also, if you run the machine in a hot environment, the Proteus MTM 4500 will cut out after 30 minutes or so to protect the motor from overheating. This is easily remedied as there is a small button at the front of the treadmill which you need to press to re-enable/reset the motor after it has cooled down. Try using the treadmill in an airconditioned environment, that way the treadmill will never cut out! - Ian.
