Inferior overpriced Purina dog sofa – Overpriced, Cheaply made orthopaedic dog sofa ($250) , fell apart within a week of use with a pug puppy . Contacted Purina customer service and evidently 4 month old puppies should be supervised in their bed with a blanket and trained not to scratch and play . Purchased another brand on the same day which shows no sign of wear and used for the same pup. Show details
Isn't durable. Very expensive - replacement covers are not available! – Bought a large Petlife dog sofa - cost over $200. A seam on the cover has come apart and become progressively worse over time and the inside that holds the bolster cushion in has disintegrated and doesn't hold the cushion in place. Contacted Purina to find a… Read more
replacement cover but they are not available! Having paid well over $200 for a bit of fabric and big pieces of foam I am not inclined to just throw it out and add to the waste problem and won't be buying another Purina bed if they don't provide covers - too environmentally unfriendly. Purina say it is fair wear and tear as the bed is 2 years old so to be expected. (Problem has been like this for a considerable time but now that bolster comes out it was time to replace the cover.) If a bed that a dog lies on doesn't last more than 2 years there is a problem with the product - this didn't last close to 2 years.. We have two other lounger beds by Petlife which are fine so it appears that the sofa has a problem or there was a production problem but product backup is non-existent. Bad value.
