many things nowadays, it’s effectively a subscription, it won’t take long to spend more on filters than the actual fountain if the filter is replaced as often as they suggest. Shipping took a bit longer than I expected as it came from China. Overall it’s good but beware of the ongoing filter costs.

The filter itself is good, however, comparable to other filters that do exactly the same thing and have found one that is exactly the same and a fraction of the cost, just not branded. This cat fountain is great This cat fountain is great. There is no mess and Squeaky loves it. I have previously had a fountain, which made a mess everywhere and then blew up!!! Delivery was slower than expected but easy to assemble and our cat loves drinking from it. She took a couple of days to get used to it but adjusted quickly. Highly recommended

I would review this product more accurately if I had actually received it. I bought the water fountain on the 14/12/25 promises to me at Christmas. I didn’t receive a shipping notice so was terrified I had been scammed. After much messages emails and phone calls I got hold of Jo who to be fair was really helpful. however I fell again for their slick marketing and ordered another fountain and this time I got a dispatch notification from CHINA!!! The website advertises two things I have found to be false: express shipping and an Aussie business!!! I have tried to get hold of them again via FB messenger email and phone calls all going nowhere. I have not received my item and I ended up raising a dispute with my bank who confirmed my credit card had been accessed in china! So much for the Aussie owned and operated!!! Purr pod gets only 2.1 stars on trustpilot there’s even a copy of a letter for consumer affairs and it indicates there are more issues with this company than meets the eye. Pls don’t give your hard earned money go elsewhere and save yourself the stress I am currently through. Take care everyone

Follow-up · It’s really quiet - just a gentle lapping sound that is barely noticeable. It is easy to clean and I refill it about every two weeks. I just keep an eye on the window that shows the water level. I wasn’t sure if my fussy cat would take to it but she has.

I have 2 british shorthairs one absolutely loves the purr-flow fountain, he drank from it immediately. He now plays with it & drinks it. It's entertaining & I'm shocked how much he is drinking now. The other is trying it but a bit shy of it & still using his old bowl. I'll keep persisting a bit before I get rid of his bowl. It is silent & one charge is lasting almost 2 months. Show details
My 14 year old tortie girl loves this! She loves sitting behind it when drinking so that she can watch what’s happening in the room! It is so much easier to clean than rubbishy plastic fountains. suggestion, make the pipes and pump out of metal as well. The less plastic in the fountain the better. Filters are very easy to replace and like that it has an indicator on it when it’s time to put a new one in. I love that the whole unit can just go in the dishwasher to clean! We had a 16 hour power outage a couple months ago and the Purr-Flow worked perfectly.
I had initial delays with the delivery of the order, but once brought to their attention it was quickly rectified.

loves running water and one who does not. Haha, who would have thought cats could be fussy. I am so glad I found Purr-Flow, not only is it a great quality filtered water fountain, it is super quiet (which the cats love) and I love the timer control which turns the flow on and off on a regular basis (so we don't scare off the timid one). This has meant both our cats are happy and drinking lots of filtered water from our Purr-Flow. Thank You!

Follow-up · My boys have been using the Purr-Pod Water Fountain for about a month now. They settled into using it very quickly and seem to be drinking more than they were with another branded water fountain. It is so easy to clean and having it set on sensor, the battery lasts a long time.

reason I haven't given it five stars is the lack of handles. It is challenging to move it when it's full of water because there's nothing to grab hold of. Other than that, it is perfect.

My cat wasn’t drinking much water from an ice cream container, so placed new Purr-pod fountain next to it… I was advised to let cat get used to it being there first, avoiding a fright from the motor (fountain) going on…2-3 days Whilst it took my cat at least a week to transition, I see cat drinking from it regularly (on timer mode). We bought 3, for my 3 cats. They were super easy to set up. Maintainance is super easy. My girls took to them instantly.
Shipping a little slow (originated in China) but the product seems to work exactly as advertised. The different modes are clever and I expect should assist with battery life. My cat has no issues with it, but has shared a much larger water fountain with our dogs for many years. It remains to be seen if it’s any easier to clean than our other fountain but this one will at least be free of dog slobber. Show details

Absolutely amazing product. My cat loves it and it's so good that it doesn't have to be plugged into power. Battery lasts for ages. Highly recommend.
So better than the average water dispenser. I was sick of the mould and washing the plastic water bottle all the time. Now it's clean and always there. I don't have to fill it up every couple of days. I thought at first the cat wasn’t using it but then I saw him so I know he is using it. I have it enough time now to have to change the filter once and clean it in the dishwasher. Easy as. Glad I purchased it. Now I just need the Purr-Pod! Show details

The Purr-Flow water fountain works as described and I’m looking forward to the easy way to clean it and it doesn’t make a noise. It didn’t take Milo long to start using it.
I was a bit nervous at the start if my cat would adjust to the water fountain. It was great, as it didn’t take long for him to adjust at all! He’s drinking more water and an added bonus for me is, the water fountain is silent.
This is the best cat water fountain I've found, that my cat enjoys using. It's almost silent in operation, has no cables and the filters last ages. My cat started using it immediately once it was unpacked, filled and set up. He loves it and I'm particularly happy to know he's getting properly hydrated throughout the day.
I have 1 elderly cat and 2 adolescents, my older cat would always drink from the dog's bowl outside, and the inside water bowl was always getting yukie. But not know!! All my kitties now enjoy fresh bubbling water all day. No more trying to get into the shower to lick the floor or wanting outside all the time. Love my Flow Fountain. Show details
