I called today to request that my results be transferred to my new doctor. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was disappointing. The representative I spoke with, who appeared to be outsourced, came across as quite impatient and had a rude tone throughout the call. She asked for a doctor number or something, which I didn’t have or… Read more

didn't even know where to find, and while I was trying to find the information online, she interrupted and said in an impatient and rude tone, “You mentioned earlier that you have the fax number—can I just have that?”

A bit more patience and willingness to guide customers would go a long way. Customer service should feel supportive, not rushed or dismissive.

I went to QML @ Mudgeeraba Bell place this Am and the Phlebotomist and Assistant were so nice! Jagati is so knowledgeable, and explained the cost of the blood test so throughly and in such a caring manner. Jagati Bed side manner top notch! Went to Stafford City shopping center for bloodwork yesterday and got a very inexperienced young woman called [Name Removed] and it was executed very poorly. [Name Removed] seemed unsure, had difficulty finding the vein and tried twice both times she missed! it was painful and stressful. I left with significant puncture wounds, bruising today and… Read more

discomfort. Her attempt to take blood from my right arm saw her going into the wrong spot! There was no vein where she was poking and prodding and I have four puncture wounds which were in the incorrect spot!! When she couldn't find the vein she decided to go into my left hand and said the vein was strong and wasn't rolling, it was a big vein and she missed again! I'm dumbfounded as to why she is even doing this job as she had no idea. Disappointed in QML for hiring or at the very least she should have been supervised. It was honestly an awful experience and I would be steering clear of this woman. I'll be taking this complaint further in the hope she gets the proper training as the incompetence level was honestly awful, she was absolutely terrible, she should not be doing this job when she doesn't know how to find a vein.

ONE STAR for QML but 5 stars for the lovely lady on duty today ON HER OWN…yet again following this selfish decision by QML to reduce staff at BITS/Boyne Island and Tank Street collection centres! A few weeks ago I queued with my 96 yo mother for an hour following her doctors apt, waiting for her blood tests. It was lunchtime and she was nearly… Read more

passing out with hunger and fatigue by the end of the wait

I was the 8th patient to arrive this morning 17/10 before the doors opened at 0700… with more people arriving after me. We grabbed our numbers, but they ran out at 14 by 0730. People of all ages kept coming. Some started queue jumping causing stress for those who’d come early and were patiently waiting. The pressure on the young lady and her constant apologies to us all as she ushered each new patient in were just sad and infuriating all at once. Why should she be put in this position. Flack from QML’s pathetic business decisions should not be borne by its dedicated and compassionate staff… and yes, people are starting to become rude and impatient with the sole staff member who’s doing her very best for all of us. This is now a daily occurrence. I don’t know how the staff are managing to put up with this! My wait time today…2 hrs.

DO BETTER QML. LIFT MANNING LEVELS SO STAFF AND PATIENTS AREN’T BEING STRESSED OUT… and to prevent mistakes being made with critical specimens!!!!!!!!!

Text Message Scam – Hi All, just to let you know if you do receive a text message pro-calming to be from QML it actually is. As dodgy as it seems. I deleted quite a few text messages before I took to Google to check it out. Came here and saw that a few people had had the same. Took peoples advice and called the DR Surgery who informed me it should of been bulked… Read more

not explain why I had this type of blood test. Then, I rang QML automated receptionist who told me that she will ask her supervisor but I never had a response: verbally. Furthermore, I requested a written itemized pathological document and invoice by email. QLM never responded and keeps sending now weekly harassing texts on my phone.

Is this a Scam? Are these new exploitation techniques used by QML to extract additional money from 85 years old pensioners or others on Medicare Schemes? How many taxpayers are exploited by QLM? ACCC should investigate ASAP.

I went to QML in Eight Mile Plains after trying other locations that routinely had problems finding my vein after multiple attempts; and was very pleasantly surprised when Laura found it at first attempt. In fact, I didn't even realize that she has finished with the procedure. Very much appreciated.

Fantastic collector st the Beaudesert clinic. The lady by the name of Tracey is honestly the best collector I have come across as this morning I was chatting to her but I hadn’t realised she had the needle in and was swapping the little tube thing for another. She found my veins with ease which not many people can so overall I would give Tracey at the Beaudesert clinic 5 stars

I think I even give them ZERO STARS. My partner do blood test on 10/11/2025 they told us everything cover by claim and after around 4 months. We receive the invoice. I really don't know how they deal with claims. More than 10 times call accountant help line always they hold up. Never got answer or nobody was online. Very disappointed and ridiculous service. Please guys never go with this pathology.

QML profits at the expense of the health of vulnerable sick people. We are now past the festive season so that can’t be an excuse. They obviously don’t hire enough staff because in the Taranganba lab near Yeppoon there was a queue around the corner in the heat. When I gave up and drove all the way to Rockhampton Stockland lab, there was an almost… Read more

2-hr wait. The aircon vents were covered in mould, as were some of the walls. This is a serious health hazard to old people and most people having tests are well over 60. After I complained to staff they said the had notified QML management multiple times about the mould. Profit above people.

The worst customer service I've ever had from a non-government agency. It's impossible to get information out of this organisation. I sought information about requirements for a test. like an overseas call centre, the respondent was clearly googling the question while I was asking it. He couldn't give me a clear answer. The second time I rang I just got an endless loop of 'Press one, Press two' options. Speaking to a human being was not an option.

I've subsequently completed the test with the other big Qld pathology lab, their website provided the key information clearly and the customer service and communication were far better.

This is my first time leaving a review, and while most things went smoothly, the process of getting my detailed payment receipt has been extremely disappointing. It’s been 27 days since payment, and despite several follow-ups through emails and calls, I still haven’t received it.
