 AI reviews summary

Redeem Vacations is highly regarded for its customer service and ability to provide significant travel savings. While users praise the professionalism of the support team and the ease of the booking platform, there is a clear divide regarding financial transparency and the quality of hotel inventory.

Pros
Exceptional Support: The customer service team is frequently lauded for being responsive, professional, and empathetic, particularly when assisting with date changes, cancellations, or extensions due to emergencies.
Significant Savings: Many users report saving hundreds of dollars on hotel stays, with some securing high-end accommodation for a fraction of the standard retail price.
User-Friendly Interface: The booking process is described as seamless and straightforward, with a clear availability calendar and efficient live-chat support.
Flexibility with Issues: The company demonstrates a willingness to resolve technical errors and provide courtesy extensions or destination changes when original plans are disrupted.
Cons
Unexpected Fees: A major recurring complaint involves "hidden" costs, including high daily resort fees, parking charges, and taxes that were not fully anticipated or clearly disclosed upfront.
Inventory Quality: Several users noted that available hotels can be dated, poorly maintained, or lower-tier (e.g., motels) compared to the 4-star expectations set by the service.
Booking Restrictions: The system requires users to pay taxes and fees before they can view specific hotel options or date availability, which some find misleading or restrictive.
Limited Availability: Finding dates that align with personal schedules is often difficult, and some users found that weekend surcharges significantly reduced the "free" value of the incentive.
Verdict

Redeem Vacations is a legitimate and effective service for flexible travellers looking to reduce accommodation costs, backed by a top-tier support team. However, users should carefully budget for daily resort fees and parking, and be prepared for a limited selection of hotels that may require aesthetic compromises.

Sometimes life gets in the way and it becomes so easy to get sidetracked. The representative helped me get back on track, and it was truly appreciated. Thank you Redeem Vacations for understanding.

so far I like that the customer service is quick and responsive. I have not yet finalize the trip. I am still in the works of getting everything set up, so we’ll have another review after the trip is set up and finalize. Before the meantime, I have not had any bad experience that I could say, the only thing I would say so far is in regards to the minimal selection of hotels, and the date ranges are very spread out or a lot of dates are taken.

I had an awesome experience with Redeem Vacations. Booking was relatively simple. I needed an extension to avoid my voucher expiring, and the customer service was excellent. It was very simple to go to the site and chat with them. They were very accommodating and helpful. What was most impressive was quality and service of the hotel where I… Read more

stayed. I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Punta Cana Village, DR. It was not a resort, but there was a free shuttle to/from the airport, beach, mall, and grocery store. Several restaurants were within walking distance as well. When I got there I simply needed my ID and credit card to check in as if I’d booked directly with the hotel, so that was easy and seamless. The only reason that I chose 4 instead of 5 stars is because the fees to redeem the voucher were more than expected, and then when I got there I had to pay another $80 in taxes that I was not expecting to pay. Also, there was an additional cost for weekend dates or to choose certain accommodation s, including the resorts that were listed. Even with that, it was definitely a fraction of the cost and met my needs for travel, so still an exceptional experience overall.

I enjoyed Las Vegas and was able to see multiple shows and enjoy activities because I only paid $169 for my room at the Harrahs thanks to Redeem Vacation. If I vacation in the future, I hope to vacation with a Redeem Vacation package.

The hotel is clean, staff is very friendly, nice neighborhood, next to a train station, lots of business around as well. Room was small, but then again I notice a lot of places are just smaller in architecture than United States. Very cute boutique hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Seoul Hotel, which we booked through Redeem Vacations. The hotel exceeded our expectations - everything was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions. We especially loved the beautiful view from the 14th floor - it made our… Read more

stay even more memorable.

The location is truly top-notch. The hotel is conveniently located near метро and bus stops, and there is even a direct bus to Incheon Airport, which made our travel very easy. There are plenty of shops nearby, including Daiso and Olive Young, as well as many cafés like Starbucks and various local coffee spots and restaurants.

For quick meals, there are also familiar options like Burger King and KFC nearby.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Customer service responds pretty quickly via chat; emails are responded to in a decent time. Room for my first voucher in metro Chicago was pretty nice. Not directly in the city but on the outskirts. I liked the location and the room was pretty decent at an awesome hotel that had a restaurant and a bar in the lobby. I actually returned to that same hotel for a different occasion. Try Perry’s Steakhouse nearby. You won’t regret it! Show details

I went to the Venice Carnival at the Ca de Conti Hotel. It was right in the center, near St. Mark's Square. Clean, cozy rooms with a Venetian style. Friendly staff. THANK YOU to the Redeem Vacation team and Travorium.

for relaxing after dealing with a flight cancellation.

The bed was especially comfortable and gave us much-needed rest after a stressful travel day. The location was also excellent — just a short 5-minute walk to Ala Moana Beach and close to Ala Moana Center for shopping and dining. It’s also an easy 20-minute walk into the main tourist area of Waikiki.

We truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality from everyone at the hotel and would gladly stay here again!

Follow-up  · The room assigned to us is not ADA compliant, as a wheelchair cannot be rolled into the shower. There is an elevator on the ground floor that provides access to the lobby and bar area. We found the bathroom in our room to be clean, well maintained, and fully tiled. We did not use the pool, but the attached photo was taken from the eighth floor looking down onto the pool area.

changed the bedding and vacuum for us (sandy). Breakfast was just a simple breakfast, coffee was good and they kept it stocked. In a deceit location, plenty of eatery around, my favorite was Milk & Honey Kitchen.

Follow-up  · Parking was very convenient, breakfast was very basic, beach access was nice once you found how to access it.

Redeem Vacations was great to work with and we had a great time in Gatlinburg TN

Follow-up  · No local tours were included we just did things on our own time visiting the Smokey mountains. The booking process was easy, everything done online but if you had questions you could use the chat feature. The accommodation was nice, had free breakfast in the mornings and pool available which was great to relax in the evenings.

I LOVE the offers I've received from this company - It's VERY difficult to say 'no' to the fantastic deals they are able to invent, and what fantastic locations they are linked to with WONDERFUL hotels to stay at. There are two challenges I've experienced in my processing: the calendar dates for availability changed the dates for open times… Read more

right while I was looking at it and limited options to book to only about 10 days out of an entire 18 month period, which were dates RIGHT before Christmas. When I reached out for assistance assuming there was a technical glitch, the chat service agent suggested that I changed my destination from Bali to Mexico. WHAT?! - That is NOT the same culture or vacation experience at all & NOT what I was promised so how is that a solution to a technical issue with your site? - The other issue I ran into was not a 'problem' it just added doubt to the experience: when receiving a site page that required a decision regarding 'new' information, a timer for approx 10min was on each and every page. What pressure?!?! -- It makes the process feel like it's a junkie company that's just out for your money and you might be getting scammed. This company DEF would appear more legit if those timers were gone.

I recently stayed at Renew Hawaii for 7 days at the beginning of June, and overall I had a wonderful experience. My first impression was very positive. arrived about two hours before the official check-in time, and to my surprise, we were allowed to check in immediately without any issues. After a long flight, this was greatly appreciated and made a wonderful first impression. Our room with one king-size bed was a bit small, and the balcony overlooked a parking lot and a busy street, so it could be somewhat noisy at night. I was also a little disappointed that housekeeping was not provided every day, especially when it came to trash removal. However, the bed linens and towels were always clean and fresh. The hotel's location is excellent. It was only about a three-minute walk to the beach, which made it very convenient. Beach chairs and towels were available for guests, and everything was clean and easy to borrow and return. There was also a small café in the lobby where guests could grab sushi, snacks, or a drink, which was very convenient. What stood out the most during my stay was the positive atmosphere and the exceptional customer service. The kindness and friendliness of the staff made me feel welcome throughout my vacation. Those positive emotions are what I will remember most about this hotel.Despite a few minor inconveniences, I left with wonderful memories and would gladly recommend Renew Hawaii to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Waikiki.

The accomodations at the Aqua Palms Waikiki were "sufficient." Nothing to write home about. Clean and comfortable older hotel, and nothing fancy. They brought the towels we needed daily and cleaned on the 3rd day. I highly recommend a City View balcony room to avoid the noise above Ala Moana Blvd. Their location is very convenient to the bus and… Read more

the Waikiki Hop on Hop off Trolley that stopped right out front. Staff was friendly and responsive. I would stay there again because it was smaller and easier to navigate with my walking issues. We we glad we did not have to walk any farther than we did. Avoid the IHOP for evening dining!! They were out of salad dressing! The food was not hot, overpriced, and the broccoli side was sour. Fortunately, the International Market on the corner offered delicious hot food that was reasonably priced and generous portions. The Tuscan Chicken pasta was delicious although a little spicy. Other grocery items were typically over priced for the convenience. We ate most of our meals in our room from the Market. I suggest packing your own salt & pepper, preferred coffee or tea with creamer and sweetner, plastic knives and forks, cookies and other convenience snack items you enjoy to avoid the inflated convenience prices. We stocked up on cut fruit, boiled eggs, bottled water, etc. from the Market. The hotel offered free filtered water, so save several of your bottles from the store to refill. Their water taste better cold than at room temperature, however. Overall, we woul stay there again. Be prepared to pay the additional resort fees at the hotel. I had to pay another $178 after spending over $385 for what was presented as a "free vacation" with the membership purchase. This "free vacation" cost me $562.

Sat through a presentation almost 2 years ago. Never used it and was reminded that I needed to activate it and then had 18 months to use it. There were other upgrades I could have selected. I went from Hawaii, to Palm Springs, and settled with Vegas. Customer service was top notch. Way better than Wyndham Vacation. I highly recommend this company over Wyndham Club Vacations or Monster.

We received a hotel voucher through our travel agent (Shout out to Patrice Davis at Next Stop Vacations) for Redeem Vacations. We used it Seoul, Korea and the hotel was beautiful. Redeem Vacations was there every step of the way, was helpful when needed, and checked in a few days before our trip.

Hotel (one of two offered) had no coffee pot in the room. I upgraded the room once at the hotel. There was no refrigerator in the room. That meant, eat all your meal, or throw it away. after soaping up. For elders, it was not a pleasant wash down. The hotel had no front desk. All questions, and signing in were done by one of ten computers in the "lobby". There were no chairs in the lobby. Waiting for a ride by taxi or Uber or friend was done in standing position, in the HOT weather. Prices at the hotel for coffee were over 5.00 dollars. Staff in shops, eateries were tired looking and snippy.
