the freight forwarding company you use "Courrio" could even deliver to the correct address or get a POD. Today again after delivering to the wrong address last week now it's delivered again with "ATL" which is against your policy. Considering today is Saturday as I post this and it's pouring rain did they leave my purchases outside random place because that delivery address is closed today. Should be reported to the ACCC. Let me guess to get a refund I need to send the products back that aren't delivered that I don't have
Blue kettle – Purchased this blue 2ltr kettle 6 months ago for $14.95, it's broken already, it's terrible quality, the handle is loose which makes it dangerous for pouring hot water, the plastic knob on the top that removes the lid broke twice, the whistle nozzle stopped whistling to let you know it's boiled. Excellent service – I recently attended the Bundaberg store for help on a 12v fridge I'd purchased 2.5 years prior. The attendant approached me, I explained the issue that they was no power getting to the fridge. the power supply socket was lose and adaptors were worn and faulty. Good range, good service – Having not used RTM before I was reluctant to do so. However, the two stores I have used being Eastern Creek and McGraths Hill, have exceeded my expectation. Prompt Service – Having read a great number of less than perfect reviews after placing my order, I was a bit concerned that I would have a problem with delivery. was a courier mistake, I called RTM, only to be told it really was still there. I explained that I needed it within two days and was told I could “just come and pick it up.”
As someone working full-time with a young family, driving 30–60 minutes each way and paying for my own fuel wasn’t a fair solution — especially since I’d already paid for delivery. The staff said there was nothing they could do.
The next day I called again, still needing it urgently, and asked if it had even been sent yet. Again, I was told to pick it up myself. When I asked if they’d at least compensate me for fuel or refund the delivery fee, I was told “no” and that there was “no postage involved” — which was false.
Frustrated, I ended up driving to the store to get it myself. When I arrived, the product was sitting there waiting, and I was offered $10 for postage — nothing else. No effort to make things right.
Two lessons for RTM: 1. If you advertise a delivery timeframe, honour it. 2. When you inconvenience a customer, compensate them properly and show some care.
This will be the last time I shop with RTM.

bureaucrats have been draining the business through bloody-minded incompetence. Sadly, the recent loss of its founder has only accelerated their impact and the rot.
Ordered and paid for 2 x 100mm bilge fans from Rochelle in Rockhampton, courier picked them up and delivered to the Marine company in Gladstone, one fan was a 75mm instead of a 100mm. Great quality compared to others similar price lasted over a year. Did replace with competitor kettle that only lasted 6 weeks so back to this one..... I know it lasts.
No communication no delivery – No communication no delivery no acknowledgement of order. No shipping information and no paint. Not happy expected a quick delivery they say express.

Never Again purchase from this Company ! – Due to my location, I had to order some items online. They were some spares for a safety item on my boat. I ordered the parts online (Saturday) and paid for them. Within about 10 minutes, I realised that I had ordered the incorrect parts. website which had their Order Number and "Possible incorrect parts" in the subject field. On the Monday, I called and got the usual pre-recorded messages that many businesses have to delay things, but after about 10 minutes, I was prompted to leave a message which I did. After several hours, I called again and the same thing happened, so I left another message. So I wrote an email to check if I had ordered the incorrect parts and advised them what parts I required. About an hour later I received and email saying that the parts I ordered would not fit the items and that I needed to find what parts I needed myself as they could not make recommendations. (This was despite the fact I had located the correct part and supplied them with the Part Number in the email). So, shortly after I sent another email cancelling the order and asking them to call me. (This was still Monday). I called twice more that day to cancel the order, but each time after waiting for several minutes, received the prompt to leave a message, which I again did.
On the Wednesday, I received notification from Australia Post advising the parts had been packed and were on their way. I called the place again to ask what was going on, only to receive the same prompt to leave a message, which I again did. Clearly they had no intention of trying to resolve this and they still had my money.
I will end up calling the bank to dispute the transaction, but will never buy from these people again. After having left at least 6 messages to call me back and me then cancelling via email, the order several days before they shipped the item, says there are many things wrong with this business operations. My suggestion for all is that when you buy online, take a screenshot of your email and keep your phone logs so that when you have to dispute it with your bank, you have the information they will require to successfully lodge the dispute.
Sells products they dont have and takes your money – Purchased 2 brass monkey 39 litre fridges for an upcoming interstate trip on the 25/11/24 during their cyber sales. is discontinued and none in the state are available. And that they would refund me. No communication on anything up until this point. Poor business practice selling a product they do not have and taking someones money and then not communicating or refunding the money. Heres the kicker... a friend purchased the same fridge on the 7/12/24 and has heard nothing and went and checked after finally getting onto someone on the 9/12/24 and you can still purchase the product!!! Worst customer service – Went in to buy a duel battery setup for my van some new fishing rods and a fish finder customer service was so bad I just walked out Absolutely terrible.
Be wary – In May purchased 1 x Rovin Inflatable Air Bed Twin Size for planned camping trip in July/Aug. Once home checked size of matress inside tent, clearly not twin, but SINGLE (item not inflated). Box also stated repair kit included - NOT THE CASE. kit issues with an obviously very disinterested male sales person. Used both Air beds for first time in early Aug, both have holes. Obviously return period has expired. Be wary of cheap RTM or Rovin products. Won't be returning

I got a refund and on checking the transactions I was charged 31/5 $92.90 and then refunded only $89.95 not happy. Anaconda sold me some that were dated April 2024 - go there for good product service
Bad serves – Ordered on 20 March in the morning, phone on 27 March as the order was still being proceed. Was told that the order was going to be collected that day and would be delivered in about 3 days. Ok, so it been 3 day now. Where is my refund? – I purchased an item online in March 2024 and returned it to RTM for a refund as the item dud not suit. RTM received the item in late March 2024 however after several phone enquires and promises from RTM staff that a refund is being processed. As mid May 2024 I am still waiting for the refund. Poor – I got what I was looking for and was served/greeted really nicely. On the other hand I seen an employee actually getting bullied by another employee at one of these stores poor thing was fighting back tears.
Bad aftersales service – Ordered a good brand of chart-plotter/depth sounder, at a good price, which was delivered promptly, but after the first use it failed to turn on. The next day I got an email asking for the serial number, pickup and delivery addresses, to which I promptly replied. Four days later and still no information about a pickup. I can't go to sea without the unit. Then I found the Reviews posted here. Forget RTM. I went straight to the Australian office of the manufacturer, which I should have done before. Within the hour I had the unit in the mail to them. I won't deal with RTM again.
After note Edit: I mailed the unit to the manufacturer on a Friday, and a new one was dispatched to me on the following Tuesday. On the Wednesday RTM finally got back to me about shipping the unit - 1 week (!) after sending them the pickup and delivery address.

No stock – I looked on the RTM site for a 600mm caravan gas hose. My local (Rockingham) RTM showed zero stock, so I checked the Mandurah store, which came up as available. I drove from Baldivis to Mandurah only to be told they didn't have any. Their excuse was they were a new store and they didn't know what stock they had. What kind of system do these jokers… Read more
have and I would have thought 2 months after opening you would sorted out stock issues and updated the computer. Later today I checked the site and yep apparently they have stock. They couldn't be bothered to fix the issue by updating the details on the system after it was bought to their attention.

guy I purchased it off a he said he would deliver it personally after he finished work. I now have just received, at 5:15 pm Sunday evening a new power source delivered by Phil to our door, and it works perfectly. ( It’s worth a mention that we live almost 50 kms from Cairns) ….. 50 lt Brass Monkey fridge – My 3 year 3 month old fridge screen dropped. I returned to Biggera Waters RTM. They rang on the third replaced .y screen and all fixed under the 3 year warranty. Staff swore at me for using the toilet – I first went into the store to ask to wash my hands after petting a dog at the petbarn next door as the pet barn toilet was busy . Appalling Service, first & last time I buy from RTM – Had to jump through countless hoops just to get email replies, let alone to receive a working product. been faulty. Again, months later I received the replacement (with no correspondence from RTM) which still had the same poor shonky results (did not drop temperature in my camper). I ended up using a portable aircon I purchased for $300 from bunnings which works like a dream.
Its not so much that the product had no cooling effect in my camper, but the fact that I was not given any updates or even detail in the email responses to my enquiries. Every response I received was basically "I have a team member looking into this", and then, complete silence until I sent another email weeks later asking what on earth is going on.
Worst correspondence I have ever had from a business with out a doubt. Sloppy handling is an understatement. I will ensure to never buy from Road Tech marine again.
12v pump no warranty – bought a 2.9 12v pump for my boat, broke down after 18 mths, rang RTM they did'nt know of any warranty but would probably give me 12mths!, obviously they had no idea. Pump started cycling every 2 sec & when you read the handbook it says if you try & adjust it you void the non-existent warranty!! I suspect it's not adjustable...This company has mostly cheap crap - go to Whitworths, pay a bit more for better quality & you'll be a lot better off... Show details

explicitly stating that I urgently need the fridge for an upcoming trip. I sent three emails with no response from Jaycar/RTM. I then called and they said they would ask the warehouse and would call me back. After 5 hours I made a follow up call. They indicated that the warehouse do not answer calls and only respond to email in order. I followed up with the freight company and they indicated they had received no other items from Jaycar/RTM.
I the requested a refund which took them longer than it should have to process. We should have shopped local and gone with waeco from the beginning instead of being lured in by cheap crap and bad service. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise as we are going to go with a reputable brand of fridge now.
If you actually want to received your items I suggest you shop elsewhere!
