pursue recovery of funds. They contacted Commonwealth Bank where his account is held. He did not respond so they closed the case. I took it to Department of Fair Trading with the same result. I then took it to NSW Police, I was told they could not assist as the "crime" was committed in Bali, Indonesia. This is despite him being an Australian citizen, having an ABN and Australian bank account. He is in Bali as a tourist, but is now considered an overstayer. I have ended up going to Bali, engaging a local lawyer whom ROB LOWE has also blocked. I have lodged a Police report with the Balinese police but they have been unable to locate him for questioning. BEWARE of this con man, I am sure he has done this previously and since because he was so practiced. Unfortunately, I met this man early 2022 and therefore our agreement was verbal. NB there has never been any romantic relationship. I am now left out of pocket, have had to find funds to pay someone else to create a business website and now having to try and locate him myself so justice can be served.
