Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital

Left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing – My father needs to regularly attend the hospital, an hours drive away. Three times now, when we have gone down, they tell him the appointment has been cancelled and they wrote to him telling him (this is the 21st Century, post..., really !!). The letter usually arrives one or two days after we have returned home, pretty useless really. Secondly, when he goes to rebook, he's told that he might have to wait longer as he was a "no show" at the last appointment. We explain, no thats not correct you cancelled. They usually deny this until we show them the letter. No apology or anything. We have now convinced tham to send a text, so that we actually get notifications before rather than after the appointment. Then as usual, his next appointment was cancelled just before the due date. We confirmed this with them, then the next day we get another text reminder, reminding us of the appointment.... the one they just cancelled.
Now the doctors are good, but that admin is hopeless.
