Hi My Ryobi Curb Runner won’t go (any ideas) Thank you
Mine stopped also. It was only the brushes in the motor. Was told by Bunnings that brushes were not a spare part that was available from Ryobi. So do as I did and chuck it into the tip and buy another brand. I will never buy Ryobi tools ever again. Brushes for most small motors cost about $10-15.
Ok so now it is 2021, Surely the lazy engineers at Ryobi have managed to design a replacment blade for the Ryobi Curb Runner. Then could you tell all your annoyed customers where the hell we can buy one?

You more than likely won't be able to buy one. Bunnings still sell this model, but you can't even buy replacement blades. Motors burn out easily and are not replacable. Over all it's a very disappointing product.
Is it still possible to buy replacement blades for a RED1520G edger. Told by Bunnings not being made anymore. This being the case is another models blade suitable. I await your reply regarding this. Regards Adrian Watson
I got the same answer from the Ryobi rep at Bunnings and a follow up call from their parts department that this will not be available. Makes the edge trimmer a paper weight.
I have a RED1520G 2012 model. Tried to get a replacement blade at Bunnings who advised me Ryobi are not making blades any more for this model. Not good if you still can't obtain spares for something only 6 years old.
