Very reliable service – I am very happy with the security screens provided by Safeway Security Screens. They were installed on time and they cleaned up afterwards.

Poor quality of work – Metal shavings left on floor, window fittings did not fit flush. Door fittings and latches not self-closing. Overhang on corners. Blunted screws from install.

Flawless perfectionism – The installer was polite, friendly, efficient and fit such a good job, we couldn't be happier with their service. Having dealt with one or two others in the past, I now won't be going anywhere else. Peace of mind.

photo was sufficient and Safeway Security Screens had been in business a long time. I thought at the time that was a little strange, however having been informed of being in the business a long time, he would know what he was doing. I accepted the quote, a time and day was arranged, and when the installer came to put in the framework, it was nothing like what I had actually asked for. The installer did ask if I wanted to think about it and he could come back later. I felt like I was under pressure, because it wasn't what I wanted and he was there so in the end I said OK install. However once installed, it was it really wasn't what I wanted. My message to everyone is to make sure someone comes out to measure and quote properly making sure all the measurements etc are correct. I've just had to pay for the installation of the poles which are going to be taken down. I wouldn't recommend Safeway Security Screens.

Security Screens - SAFEWAY Security – I contacted Safeway Security for a quote on a double security door and two security screens. They arrived punctually at my existing home and I showed the salesman exactly what I wanted as my current home already has the screens installed. salesman indicate that their installation methods were any different to what I already had installed in my existing home and I naively assumed that they would be the same. Well I could not have been more wrong. The double security door has been installed without a frame and has simply been screwed into the wooden door frame leaving a gap around the door. The window screens were attached to my existing HIGH quality aluminium window frames by drilling EXTERNAL holes through both the screens and existing frames. The screws, albeit "secure" screws are fully visible and accessible from the outside and the installation screws have caused dents in the new screens at each point that they have been screwed in. I have communicated my dissatisfaction to Safeway and the answer is simply "that is the way we do it" and " I will speak to the manager". Well I have had no further feedback. Certainly before you use SAFEWAY screens I would suggest you make sure that their installation methods meet your standards and provide the same level of security that other screens and doors do. They certainly didn't meet mine. You get what you pay for - I should have know this.
