Samsung CLP-315 Series

Good all-rounder – Great little printer for everyday colour use. Doesn't print well on photo paper, and photos on matte paper are a little dull, but colours are true. Toner seems to run out quickly, but they are easily sourced online or from Officeworks. Has separate toners for each colour, so you only replace the one which has run out, rather than the entire colour cartridge. I don't use the wireless feature but have no problems networking. Only holds 150 sheets, which isn't much but keeps it compact. Cheap, compact Short life toner

Terrible – Wireless keeps dropping out after a couple of hours. Updated firmware and driver still does same problem. Samsung saysits the router but have wireless HP as well with absolutely no problem. Samsung service attitude absolutely useless for trying to fix. Had a similar problem with a Samsung fridge a year ago. With so many other printers about dont buy it because its cheap because it wont work reliably. We will use up the cartridge and then buy a Brother Cheap to buy print quality is ok Wireless keeps dropping out/useless Samsung phone service

Terrible – Bought the printer last year, working fine except the wireless connection not working, but was happy with the cable connection to my wireless router, so it did work as a wireless printer in a way. It suddenly stopped working when the black cartridge needed replacement, bought a new cartridge, and called Samsung for repair as it was only 9 months old.

Repair agent came out in 2 days, which was good, but can't fix it.

After a week, and endless chasing from my part, was told the parts they are ordering from Samsung is out of stock, can't repair, and not their (agent) problem anymore.

So, I went chasing Samsung for a solution, endless calls, and promises from them to return calls, but never did.

After another 2 weeks and after my last warning before I go to the Small Claim Tribunal, they finally told me they will replace it or refund. Now, another week and a half, I have not received my cheque.

WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT EVER!! Good colour printer with network connection, and cheap. Wireless connection not working, and its a nightmare if you need to claim replacement under warranty.

Good – A good colour laser printer at an affordable price when compared to inkjet printers. Printing quality is quite good. Very cost effective. Colour laser printer. Number of pages printed before cartridge needs replacing. Paper jams on occasions
