when you are expecting a fully charged one. If you can get it positioned right, charges reasonably quickly.

Doubt I would buy another one as messing around with positioning it properly is pretty equivalent to messing around getting the plug in, and now with the usb c, you don't have to figure out which way is the right way up and it does take up a significant amount of real estate if you are squeezed for space.

Garbage from day 1 – I recently purchased a Samsung S8+ and Samsung Puck charger specifically for QI charging EVERY time I put phone on charger it flashes and indicates charging paused. Tried a non Samsung QI charger nil issues works perfectly everytime! Apparently this is very common with Samsung pucks. Absolutely useless! Thinking of replacing both ASAP with NON Samsung equipment.

Horrible product and customer support – Purchased 2 upright Samsung wireless charging stands. Both failed in less than a year. If you read any POSITIVE reviews that's because the reviewer hasn't had the charger long enough, they fail within a year, I hope they post another update when their charger fails.

Product and product support at samsung is awful.

Update: as of this review, I've spent approx 5 hours on the phone with Samsung case management trying to get my chargers back that they refused to replace, they are lost in a fog.

Good – Compared to other wireless charger Samsung wireless charger is one of the best but it does not charge fast as cable charging but it is still better for overnight charging

A cute and useless gadget – I got this wireless charger free as I had preordered the Note 8. It's an ice looking device. It is not really wireless. You have to plug in a fast (adaptive) charger, otherwise it does not work at all. And with the fast charger, it is rather slow. In short, you might as well charge the smartphone with a fast charger, and leave the so-called wireless device alone, perhaps sitting on your desk, where it might look attractive. Not worth buying.
