I have one of these TV's and I have it hooked up to a Sony Amplifier for audio by optical cable, however no sound is coming from the the amplifier speakers. any suggestions?

Hello members, I am trying to help my elderly neighbour with this TV. I have connected it to the WIFI but he wants to watch iView and SBS on demand. Can anyone help please? Does this TV even have this function? Thanks Janet.

If it is a SMART TV YES. He really needs to get someone in to set him up. Too difficult to explain in writing. Good luck.

Thanks Ada. The remote does not have a Home button as shown in the link. Maybe that is a different model number. Thank you for your suggestion though. Anyone else have any ideas? All tips gratefully received, thank you Janet

Sorry for any confusion Janet. It seems this model may not be a smart TV and have access to apps to install. In order for us to confirm this, would you be able to send a photo of the unit’s compliance plate via Facebook? The compliance plate can be found on the back of the unit and will contain the model and serial number.
