Schweigen Silent Exhaust Fan BRW650

Based on previous good experience with a Schweigen product we purchased extractor systems for two bathrooms with one being a split system to serve a bathroom and adjacent powder room. We used an "experienced" installer from the Schweigen website. The installation was exceptionally poor and none of the included Schweigen installations were followed. On contacting Schweigen support they sent antother installer around who spent five manhours rectfying the initial installation and was able to greatly improve the interior noise to any acceptable level although it is not "silent" as promoted by Schweigen.

The remaining issue is the exterior noise of the extractor motor. A video is attached that has the motor running for the first 5 seconds then turned off for the next 5 seconds and then back on again. This issue of the exterior noise was included in the initial online support lodgement with Schweigen and covered in the subsequent eight email contacts with members of the support team. The Schweigen experienced installer that did the installation rectification work has stated that the exterior noise we are experiencing is normal and acceptable. This exterior fan motor noise is audible by our neighbour directly across the road and the neighbour on southern side of our dwelling. This noise condition is outside of acceptable parameters and not consistent with expected performance. It is dissapointing that Schweigen consider this noise intrusion to be acceptable and have not been able to offer any solution.
