You would have thought I would have learned my lesson using this rubbish years ago. This is nothing like a top coat plaster repair product, it falls off the spatula while putting on wall patch (Provided in pack) coverage takes 4 to 5 times just to keep on wall, Then trying to sand, it's like a rock, but don't try using orbital sander, as it then flakes off in chunks. Anyone reading this, spend the extra and pick up a small tub of plasterers pre mix top coat, yes it might be a case of having too much, but at least it's the right stuff, and sanding is a breeze leaving you with a great job after pai ting.

Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $15.40.

Selleys Rapid Filler – This filler is Not exterior grade. It expands and pops up under 3 coats of Weathershield. Absorbs moisture. Has let me down every time externally. Polyfilla professional is the go.

Fabulous product & so easy to use – I have recently purchased & successfully used Selleys spakfilla squeeze & scrape. There was a scratch on the plaster in my hallway which my 2 cats found & had fun enlarging. The small scratch ended up being approx 14cm long x 1.5cm wide. This product was so easy to use. I did the applicatior top of the bottle rather difficult & clumbsy so I unscrewed the top to use it like a tube of toothpaste with a plastic scraper that was less than $1. This was so much easier & worked very well.

I then applied a 2nd coat the following day.

A few days later (I wasn't in a rush & didn't get time sooner) I sanded the area.

It has now been painted & for my 1st try, I'm thrilled. There is no sign at all of the original problem.

The paint went over it easily.

I've also now patched a fairly deep hole in the kitchen were a stick on hook had broken & the base of the hook tore off a fair amount of plaster. Again the repair is invisible.

So much cheaper than finding & getting a professional. I'm thrilled with this product.

I am a single female & also have some damage to my hand/wrist so being able to manage something like this myself is just wonderful as trademen are not only hard to locate but expensive.

I personally wouldn't try large holes but nail/screw holes where a heater was removed, a dent from a door knob into a wall & a small crack from some movement in the house over the years are also now mended.

The plastic scraper & my hands just wash clean.

The top of the bottle just screws back on & sits in the cupboard for next time.
