They didn’t work at all. When I tried to get a refund was constantly led in circles with forms, and emails. Luckily I paid with PayPal and after 2 weeks PayPal refunded me as they saw how dodgy it all was. Don’t get them. Show details

Doesn't even do basic scheduling with temperature triggers; not worth the money at all. It's a complete rip-off. So many features are behind a paywall. There are so many "bloat" features that I don't need, but so many basic features don't exist. Don't waste your money on this product. It's essentially a Wi-Fi remote, which I don't need. I wanted something with smart scheduling.

Instructions on screen are different to online instructions. Device said it was already registered to another address. Reset device, flashing and showing it was discoverable. Two QR codes on back...one goes to Home and says already set up to another device so reset it...despite my being in the reset mode already. The other one does not work. Enter… Read more

the URL in the instructions to do it manually, does not work. So, cannot connect to wifi and zero chance of connecting remote to device. Just a mess of roundabouts, dead ends and inconsistent instructions on phone and online instructions. Taking it back. Will not repurchase.

Let down – The product itself is fantastic – it works smoothly, the design is sleek, and the functionality is generally reliable. However, I have to say that being required to buy a subscription for basic features that should be standard is a letdown. Features like a sleep timer are basic inclusions on even the simplest devices and have been around since… Read more

these products first came out. It's not an "advanced feature"; it's an expectation. Sadly, what could be an outstanding product is held back by what feels like unnecessary monetization.

Excellent product, great service - zero complaints – I have been using (2 of) the Air for some time - personally, my experience has been really positive. The devices work from a reasonable distance from the a/c unit, and are not even in direct line of sight. Each time they turn on and off without issue. I’ve recently had an issue that I required support. I sent an email via their website, and… Read more

had a response within 2 hours which was helpful and informative. Issue has been resolved.

The initial investment, when you buy online via a ‘special’ means the product isn’t that expensive. For me, it’s value for money.

Faulty battery in room sensor – Purchased Sensibo Air with Room Sensor from Office Works Glen Waverley in early June 2024. The battery (Dishy brand never heard of before) in the room sensor had leaked the contents of the battery into the device. This review is about the handling of the failed battery issue which in my opinion (an electrician) should require Sensibo to perform a… Read more

root cause analysis on the failure & maybe consider inspecting devices prior to further sale, as they put responsibility back on Office Works, when I believe it should be addressed by the manufacturer. It is clearly a battery issue not a sensor quality issue. I did return the product to Office works Traralgon (by car) and they were very responsive. They replaced the faulty item & also inspected other items on the shelf, so that was a good experience. I should also point out that support staff in Sensibo were very respectful but they said it was an Office Works issue which I do not agree with (training issue). I also dealt with Office works online (help desk) but they said it was a store issue not Office works online. I should also point out that I am very happy with my replacement Sensibo and give it a 5 star rating. I live 120 km to Traralgon & 300km from place of purchase) and was extremely disappointed I couldn’t get a refund based on the photos I sent to both Sensibo & Officeworks without returning the product directly. I considered postage but not an acceptable option from Office works & unlikely allowed by Aust Post due to leaking battery. I have used the replacement Sensibo for 3 weeks now & cannot fault it. It performs as expected. It was a mixed experience. To conclude I think this is a warranty training opportunity for both Sensibo and Officeworks and yes I will definitely be happy to recommend Sensibo & Officeworks again as this was a once of negative experience. I also give a shout-out to the very good customer service and positive experience at Officeworks Traralgon as they took ownership of the issue and where fantastic to resolve and respond to the issue.

Good device that already costs $$ with too many features behind a paywall – Good: + Turns remote based aircon into wifi/app enabled with anywhere access control + Integrates with HomeKit + Cheaper than inbuilt wifi options into split systems + Works across brands (Panasonic + Fujitsu so far for me) + Gives 24hr worth of tracking Bad: - Lots of functionality is behind a paid subscription - Constant ads; prompts; emails… Read more

about the paid features, despite already paying good money for the device - Good in that on/off commands appear to not be toggles, but effectively renders the existing remote useless as it doesn't sync with Sensibo - HomeKit integration lets temp control by 0.5 increments, but none of my split systems support those increments, so the commands are rejected with no indication the change didn't occur - Everytime you open the app (even from just being used) it reloads wasting 5-10 secs in process. Can make the app slow to use

Good idea, poor execution, no support – While the webiste, product and packaging is sleek, the device is not. After 9 months, this item has required resetting on a monthly basis and Sensibo support is as good as useless. While they may respond, they offer no real support beyond their existing FAQ articles, which, in themselves, do not work. I have a brand-name network router, very… Read more

common & ubiquitous air conditioner and an iPhone. I am on a fast & very reliable internet connection, yet this device still manages to not function as advertised and continue to sap my time and effort to keep it online.

I have mix feeling about this product – Bought 2 Sensibo airs, one to link to a Fujitsu and one to a Daikin unit. While the one linked to Fujitsu does not miss a bit the one linked to the Daikin is quite useless. It is such a shame as I wanted to love it but it depends on the unit you have whether will work or not. Show details

Sensibo an absolutely 100% waste of money – It is unable to find the WiFi even when sitting atop of the router Manual setting of WiFi suggests it works, but then it is unable to pair with the remote Then it shuts down and you have to start over again When unexcepted power outage, you need to reset and reconfigure the device as though it were new The support pages advise you to do what you… Read more

have already proven doesn't work

I am majorly disappointed in this product. It fails to deliver in all respects. It is completely useless, not even good as a paperweight. Oh, and the USB power adapter, that doesn't work either.
