Be very careful buying products online from Sephora. I recently purchased a k18 hair mask that was clearly a fake (shiny bottle, no batch no and obvious spelling mistake on packaging). When I attempted to return the item I was offered points not a refund. Very disappointing.
Lousy - they say free shiping, set the shipping so that you pay for express and if by accident and you notify them immediately they wont fix. Really just ripping you off. Im not going to boether with Sephora as they are deceiptful in the website setup. Go mecca instead
I wished to order an item click and collect but the item had been mistakenly put as delivered. I tried leaving a message online via the suggested onlinevl method but got an error message and wouldn't let me post it. Tried calling a number of stores, but speaking to someone on the phone is like pulling out hen's teeth. No number to call head office either. I wish I could give 0 stars as 1 star is a rating Sephora really doesn't deserve.

price of $41.60 on 15 May and while I threw the receipt out ages ago,as one would, I offered them a photo of the Qantas Card transaction made at their store. They refused to accept it as proof. I have an account with them which showed several transactions in May but they said they could not identify the price or product I bought. I am in touch with Ultra Violette who are trying to do the right thing by their customers. Avoid Sephora. Mecca is owned by Aussies and I'm sure has greater integrity and record keeping than this French-owned monolith. Support local, not international bullies.

Now they want photograph of the items to prove that I have received them even though their courier company can provide them that information. They are a disaster of an organisation and I will never buy from them again.

I won’t purchase Huda Beauty products due to ethical concerns and public allegations regarding ties or sympathy toward Iran’s IRGC. I emailed Sephora on behalf of the Iranian community to raise these concerns and ask them to reconsider carrying the brand but received no response. I encourage shoppers to research before buying.

rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. My children were not asked if they needed help beforehand, and employees were talking and laughing behind their backs, which made them feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. This behavior toward minors is unacceptable.
After using the product that was recommended by your staff, my child experienced an immediate skin reaction, including redness, pimples, and peeling.
I am not seeking further product recommendations. I want this incident, especially the way my children were treated and the recommendation of an unsuitable product for young skin, to be taken seriously and addressed.

purchased irritated my eyes which would itch and water. The request to provide evidence involved me having to send in photos of my eyes amongst other requests. This is a deliberate way for them not to refund purchases. They don’t take calls. There is zero care factor for the customer. I lodged a formal complaint and to date have not been contacted, not even an acknowledgment that my complaint had been received. Received a sample that had previously been opened. Asked by email if they could please send an unopened one. Because it was a sample, they replied, I could not have a replacement. That is the short story. The long story involved several emails and a demand for photos which were irrelevant anyway. An enormous and callous waste of my time. question regarding whether the order had been dispatched. The Aus Post app clearly shows that Aus Post never received it. Nevertheless, Sephora insisted on chasing up the 'courier', blaming said courier for not replying. Sephora then finally admitted that the order was never dispatched.
I have requested a refund, which they are refusing to initiate.
I have informed them that as a business with an Australian ABN they are required by consumer law to provide a refund as my order has not arrived within a reasonable time period. Sephora seem to be of the opinion that they do not have to comply with Australian law.
If this is not resolved within one working day, I will report Sephora Australia Pty to the ACCC.
