Seqirus Cationorm Eye Drop Emulsion 10ml

My GP recommended these drops for dry eyes but instilling the drops is a nightmare! Too hard to squeeze the bottle and then it's hit and miss where a drop lands.....so much wastage! Surely in this day and age manufacturers could make the dispenser more user friendly, especially for us older generation who really need them!! Show details

I had a sever reaction to these drops. My eyes are red, swollen, sore and watering. I do recommend this product. I only put one drop in each eye. They were recommended by my Dry Eye Optometrist. There was nothing wrong with my eyes prior to using this product.
Eye dropper doesn’t work! – The eye dropper is too small and hard to dispense drops safely into the eye. I have used many eye drops and this dispenser is the worst for getting a single drop in your eye. The drops themselves are ok, but now costing over $30 for 10 mls I will buy a different brand Show details

Great product but please change the dropper dispenser. I have rheumatoid arthritis and l find this bottle very hard to squeeze. A bottle like hydro forte eye drops would be perfect. Show details
Follow-up · My recent bottles of Cationorm drops have been easy to use until the bottle is half empty and then it is difficulty to squeeze.

The.contents is working well. But the bottle is very difficult to use especially when I have arthritis in my thumbs and find it very hard to squeeze out just one drop in each eye. Show details
Follow-up · No not hard to hold The cap is fine The bottle is difficult to squeeze, I either get nothing or a flood of product into the eye, running down my cheek. When does is 1 drop in each eye. (Not possible)
The drops are helpful for dry eyes The dispenser is VERY difficult to use effectively. Unless you have very strong hands and thumb, I suggest you use the individual pipettes. I have a constantly aching thumb joint from trying to get one drop from the dispenser. When you finally push hard enough, often two drops pour out at once. Dispenser needs to be re-designed. Cationorm eye drops are effective but the dropper dispenser is terrible and leads to excess wastage. Please redesign the eye drop unit, to save wastage and make it easier for people to use. Show details
Cationorm is highly effective as a dry eye treatment. However the delivery bottle is so difficult to use. Many elderly people would be in my group with dry eye syndrome and so the likelihood of arthritis in fingers and thumbs is an issue making it difficult to squeeze out the drops. I've wasted more than I've managed to actually get in my eyes and… Read more
the process is excruciating and frustrating! Please, please consider a different style of applicator.
The dropper is annoying, but it works. Six months later I've shifted to the single dose things as needed now my eyes have healed. It's a good idea to shop around for better prices Original review below Lots of other people are complaining only about the bottle. Change the dropper style. Unlike other styles, it's hit or miss 50% of the time. Have… Read more
to squeeze the bottle surprisingly hard for anything to come out (and yes, I follow the instructions), and then it's a coin toss between one or two drops coming out. Have used heaps of other droppers. I'm going to get an alternative recommended product. Very frustrated 4 times a day. Oh, the drops do work.
The product is effective, the bottle is very difficult to dispense a single drop. I don't find it lasts particularly long between doses. Would use single dose vials next time. Show details
Change the dispensary bottle – Same as most of the reviews on here. Great product but really difficult to dispense and often wasting drops as they squeeze out too much. I won’t be buying again and am surprised that the company haven’t changed the dispensing bottle with all this negative feedback Show details
Great product – I have dry eyes and my optometrist recommended Cationorm. I'm onto my second bottle. It is much better than the regular eye drops I used to use. I think this is likely because it contains oils so doesn't just evaporate quickly. I have had no problems with the bottle and getting a drop into my eye, so not sure why some of the other reviewers have had trouble. Show details

Cationorm is far superior to Systane for my dry eyes – I love this product. I had given up on Systane which my optometrist recommended. It actually irritated my eyes and too many drops would come out at once so It was being wasted. A friend suggested Cationorm and it gives lasting, instant relief. I also really like the dropper bottle. Only one drop comes out at a time so it is not being wasted. I don’t find it too hard to squeeze at all. I’m surprised by the negative comments on the dropper bottle. Show details
Cationorm Eye Drop Emulsion is Fabulous! – After having permanent lens replacement, I suffer with continuous dry-eyes and I have tried so many brands ranging from Systane Hydration, Hyloforte, Thera Tears, Bion Tears etc. Since using Cationorm Eye Drop Emulsion, I have noticed a HUGE reduction in my dry-eye issue and I only have to use one drop in each eye every 7 hours. All the other… Read more
drops I mentioned in this review, I was using every 2-hours to try and get some relief. It would be great if Cationorm could design the bottle to dispense an exact measured amount like the Hyloforte eye drops bottle.
Try something else – My optometrist recommended. Agree that the product is good but VERY difficult to dispense and VERY expensive. I’m in the midst of a terrible allergic reaction to this product, hives from head to toe! The packing does say “Do not use if allergic to ingredients” but I’ve never had a reaction to eye drops before. Show details
Disappointing – Drops recommended by optometrist. They are Ok, but probably not any better than alternatives. Also very expensive. The dispenser is the worst design I have seen. I agree with many of the comments that it is difficult to use. It requires considerable force to eject the liquid and too much usually come out. Which is annoying given the cost. Clearly,… Read more
the dispenser was not tested properly before the product was put on sale. I intend to return to using Systane, which is much cheaper and easier to use
Love the product not the dispenser – Too difficult to administer. You have to squeeze the bottle so hard that too much comes out, usually missing your eyes altogether. The product itself is great. Show details
Thought dispenser must have been faulty – Prescribed by optometrist , my recent first purchase of cationorm has made me wonder WHY? WHY would a manufacturer put a very good liquid into a bottle that is impossible to use.? After initially having a bit of difficulty to get drops to dispense from the small hole, I returned it to the Chemist. The pharmacy checked it and said it was fine! But… Read more
NOW a week later, it is impossible to squeeze and my half full bottle is useless, as even with 2 hands I cannot squeeze hard enough to get a drop out. The bottle has become distorted and "sucked in" . Clearly there IS sometning wrong with tnis dispensing bottle. I thought it was just MY bottle but after reading these reviews i realise i am not alone. It leaves me concerned that there also may be something wrong with the contents. I will not buy this product again, until the bottle manufacturing is rectified.
Terrible to use – I was advised by my Ophthalmologist to buy these eye drops as I have dry eyes. There were no instructions in the box on how to use these drops. The dropper was so small that when I managed to squeeze a drop out it missed my eye and rolled down my cheek. Like other have said it is very expensive $35 and a waste of money. Show details
Product is great/packaging is terrible – The actual drops are fantastic it glides onto the eyes beautifully and keeps the eyes comfortable. The applicator is terrible, in the tip is way too small and you missed your eyes some times, the bottle is very hard to squeeze. Worst design and rubbery plastic which doesn’t squeeze the product out when required. Show details
not a miracle product – I would rate this products performance as average. My eyes are not very dry but do feel better when using eye drops especially at night as I use a fan on low for sleeping. I agree with others the bottle is not user friendly. I have found no difference in eye moisture between this and Systane. Waste of money, not a miracle product as advertised

Terrible bottle application – Why would this company try to reinvent the eye dropper. It is so annoying to use! You’ve got to squeeze the bottle so hard to get any drops out. And at that price& for the above reason, it’s a waste of money! Show details
Cationorm - great result apart from dislocated fingers from opening it – Why produce an excellent eye treatment that can't be accessed by the consumer? I realize that there's special enzymes used, however please find another application option. One that is easy to use and doesn't contribute to world microplastic pollution problem. Show details
Redesign the bottle!!!!! – It’s practically impossible to get anything out of this bottle. You need a cast iron grip to persuade even one drop to come out. Glad I got it on a pension discount, no way would I have paid over $30 for it Show details
Poor design bottle – I purchased these eye drops on a pharmacist recommendation. So far have only been able to squeeze out 2 drops from the bottle with an 01/2025 expiry date. At a cost of $36 a bottle I’m attempting to return to the chemist shop for refund. I would have appreciated the chance to test this product without fear the excessive squeeze of the bottle may… Read more
cause the product secured lid may explode into my eye. Please review urgently the bottle design of this product
Impossible to use – The 10ml plastic squeeze bottle is too hard to use. You have to squeeze so hard that when the fluid starts to emerge it comes out in a squirt and not as a single drop so you are overdosing your eyes and wasting the contents. If you are not on concession and pay over $30 for it you are wasting your money big time. Still wasting your money if you… Read more
pay concession price of under $10. You will do better finding another product that’s easier to use and at least you can easily use up every drop of the contents. If sales drop off because WE ALL STOP BUYING AND USING CATIONORM IN BOTTLES then only then will the manufacturer will design a new and user friendly bottle. I say DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THE BOTTLE CHANGES.
The product seems fine...once you can actually get the product out of the bottle!!!!! – I do need these drops, but with arthritis in my hands, it is almost impossible to dispense them. It becomes a very stressful and painful process. Show details
Great drops for dry eye, but dispenser could be better – Cationorm drops work really well for dry eyes but the dispensing plastic bottle can be tricky to use. People with arthritic hands may find this bottle difficult to use and people without arthritis may find it annoying. Show details
Very bad dispenser – Good product if you can get it into your eye. Hard casing and unpredictable drop.
