Purchased Silvan 13-B 18 months ago. Will not charge! Initially seemed to be ok but the 3rd time I went to use it continually flashing red and green indicating it's overheating. How can it be overheating when I just plugged it in. It's in a cool place hasn't been over used, non of the trouble shooting tips offer any help. Piece of frustrating junk! Would not recommend - waste of money and especially a waste of my precious time. Do better.

Purchased one of these at Bunnings it was assembled in the box ready to use which was great. The capacity 13lt excellent. It is easy to use. I wish I had bought one sooner. One minor thing is when filling it you can't tell what water level you are up to because of the colour red. Maybe a clear channel on one side so you can see how full it is otherwise I would recommend it. Show details

Silvan poor quality – Very disappointed with this trolley sprayer as it has split along the seam. Had no idea until I pressurized it and it sprayed roundup all over my leg. Not happy

Silvan 13l heavy duty trolley sprayer tank leaking – The tank has started to leak near the bottom. Looks like the tank is splitting. Only have used it for about 12 months. Very disappointing. Thought a reputable spray companies sprayer would last longer and be more robust. Show details

Pump section would not unscrew – Tried to undo pump and it was jammed shut and the plastic lug which was supposed to open the screw, broke off. Cannot even remove in the hope of buying a spare part... so it means a whole new sprayer. Bad quality. Show details

Perfect for larger blocks – I upgraded our 5 litre sprayer to this 13l Silvan sprayer. Not only saves it me having to constantly refill/mix, but it sprays extremely well with good coverage on unwanted weeds or grasses. Even though it is 13 litres, it doesn't require a lot of pumping up in comparison to my old unit. Because of the good coverage, it is very efficient to keep… Read more

our 4500 sqm block maintained. The wheels are great, not having to carry it, and the hose is a good length to reach but yet not getting tangled up in the wheels when moving. I am very impressed. Thank you, Silva. Great product.

Good value Trolley sprayer - works well – Replaced my garden sprayer - used mainly for weed control with glysophate. My old unit 8L and had to fill more often - initially went chasing battery powered back pack unit but with a a 16L backpack weighing the best part of 20kg when full decided for this trolley sprayer - very robust "tank" with wheels and an aluminium adjustable height arched… Read more

handle (one side to the other over top the tank) - has a pump to pressurise the tank after filling (13Litres is maximum capacity) and it works well - it also pulls apart to replace the seals and cups - not a difficult task to take it apart. The wand is aluminium shaft with an effective handle to activate the spray and it has a little plastic keeper that enable you to lock the trigger on to reduce fatigue in hand if extended use. The spray nozzle is adjustable from a reasonably wide spray to a jet stream and is affective. The lance is adjustable from about 850 mm - 1150 mm and is attached to a useful 2.5 metre long hose from the tank. The tank is fitted with a pressure relief valve if "over pumped" with air - when finished just lift up the pressure relief valve to empty the tank of air. The instruction manual is very comprehensive and there is full listing of parts with part numbers which the Supplier says are available. The sprayer is very easy to pull along and sit on the ground next to where you wish to spray or can be pulled along as you spray fairly easily. All in all a very good quality unit at this price point - it will do all the basic spraying I need it to do for a reasonable cost and I don't have to lug around a 20kg back pack on back.

Comes with 12 month warranty - couldn't find any detail on warranty in the box but Silvan internet site indicates they are 12 mths warranty

Pros: Very simple to put together - the manual is very good if you have any doubts Seems to be good quality plastic parts with aluminium handle and wand (for strength) Trolley is easy to pull along (is 16.79 kg when full of liquid) Lance and spray nozzle works well, pump effectively pressurizes the tank Hose length at 2.5 metres is good

Cons: The only con I can think of is the orange coloured tank is marked with the litres up the side, but as the tank is solid orange its not very easy to see how full it is - a clear window would be good (not a deal breaker though)
