Singapore Airlines Westpac Platinum
1 review
Bait & Switch tactics employed by Westpac – When I signed for this there was 1.5 points per dollar on the Amex & 1 point per dollar on the Visa & you also got a 1 for 1 extra points certificate up to 25000 points annually ! That's what was advertised with much excitement & fanfare by Westpac. After only one year the certificate benefit was revoked & the Visa dropped to only 0.5 points per dollar.
Now this product doesn't stack up against Citibank for higher end points collectors. I suggest you to take a look at the Citibank Signature card.
Westpac as an organisation has been disappointing displaying incredibly bad business ethics in their use of 'Bait & Switch' tactics
sorry, something went missing... What I menat to say, Bronwyn54, you are incorrect. It used to be 1pt per dollar inside Aus. for Visa purchases. They changed this a while ago but nevertheless, the feedback from hatesupselling is correct.
yep, Bronwyn you are incorrect. This card was super but benefits were diminished over time. i moved to the Virgin money card - atrocious application process but earns lots of points.
