I will never return. I informed the lovely reception staff that the radiologists for both my x-rays had no compassion, were rude and had zero reassurance for someone with a phobia. I will be informing my drs.

I also meant to mention that these young radiologists may as well have been robots. Obviously zero training in people skills.

It is obvious as soon as you step in, there are systemic issues. The reception staff are no different from the public hospital ones. And they must have targets to meet. I don’t mind waiting. It’s why I am called a patient. I was rushed through form filling, and they forgot to biopsy me. It is a shame my surgeon works from there. If I had checked… Read more

this page earlier, I would have picked another hospital. One that uses PRC. The technicians so their best but someone is not running this place well.

Update: and now my GP cannot access my scans . Someone stuffed up my paper work. It is a good thing I had a simple straightforward cancer.

What appaling service. What is going on with this outfit. They used to be so efficient. Why should I have to pay to listen to inane adverts about cat food whilst waiting to be connected. SKG needs to up its game. I would not recommend them to anyone.

you are treated disrespectfully by waiting a long time on the phone. This has happened to me on many occasions. I only want to ask a simple question, therefore I feel that SKG do not deserve my providing them employment. SKG may have sat high on the ladder, at a time, and rested on those laurels. There are players on your heels who will take your work, a and are, this is what you deserve.

Tried to book a procedure by phone at the West Perth branch. Spent literally hours on the phone on hold on three separate occasions, eventually just gave up. Successfully made a booking with another provider after only spending a few minutes on hold. My advice - don't waste your time with this oufit, customer service is atrocious.

I had a hip joint cortisone injection through my groin yesterday and it was pain free. Thank you to Dr. Tan and his assistant Linda. I have had them at SKG East Vic Park before with a lovely radiologist and she too was excellent. They get the needle in the right spot every time and painless.

Horrible enough initial experience to not want to give them my custom any further. Phoned and was on wait listening to adverts that turned to static pshhhhhhhht sounds half way through. date of birth and phone number before being able to tell me that simple info. Their nearest booking was further away in time than all the others, so the business is going elsewhere, but not only for that reason. If the inital experience is anything to go off its going save a lot of pain by going elsehwere. Some companies just have a certain bureaucratic inflexible unsorted mayhem vibe about them, and this is one of them so im taking it no further and beginning to push back via reviews and other forms when I can. Im tolerating it less and less these days because i know where it ends up. Better not to go there in the first place.

BTW SKG.. if you didnt spend a couple of minutes asking me for unnecessary details and me questioning why you needed them just to find out when I could get an appointment, the phone call would not have been as long and therefore your phone queue would not have been as long either. You wouldnt have been "currently experiencing higher " call volume.

I did my MRI scan on 05/02/25 and still waiting for the report even after few calls. More than one month wait for a report in medical field. I am not sure if they are in the right business. The government should monitor this business rather than investing after few deaths. This will be my last visit to SKG.

Suspect billing practices make this company one I avoid wherever possible. The problem is, they are embedded into St John of God Murdoch, so you really don't have a lot of choice. don't apply. Its only when you are admitted that radiology falls under these capped agreements. The problem IS, if you dont know, they dont tell apparently. My wife has been stung by this before so when she was in emergency the last time she insisted on being admitted. The person wanting her to sign the authority form said "dont worry, you shouldnt be out of pocket anyway, so just sign". That was not correct. So beware OUTPATIENTS or your bill may make you sick.

Medicare and they missed putting a different account invoice via electronic lodgement like the others previously to my private medical fund and wanted me to pay it myself. I went in to one of their clinics at Murdoch to sort out and it was all done. . . According to them after 45 mins approx with their staff. Thirdly, in another incident - as a cancer patient in the cancer ward I received the phone calls, voicemail, text messages. When had received my daily dose of chemo I went for radiation treatment today at Genesis Care. Fourthly, a staff member from SKG approached me with a handful of invoices to stare the accounts department were demanding payments as my account was not paid. Fifthly, the staff member along with the phone calls all stated they were from SKG Genesis Care. NOT SO! They rent space in the Genesis Care building but ADD the name Genesis Care to theirs giving the impression it was the same company - SKG Genesis instead of SKG Radiology at Genesis Care etc. Fifthly, having just paid Genesis Care for the previous weeks treatment it was confusing as they did not differentiate between the two companies and I assumed I was double paying. They are tarnishing the good name of Genesis Care and St John of God with branding themselves as the same. When I spoke to Genesis Care about this they were lovid

free to which SKG responded "not for us". It was explained that my wife and I are aged pensioners, living off the government aged pension and paying rent. Along with other expenses. It was also explained that had little food and that charities were assisting us. After explaining our plight and asking for understanding, SKG stated "you used our services and we demand payment. This company does not demonstrate empathy nor understanding. They are cold hearted and money driven. SKG is a blight on that profession. We now rely on hand outs to survive.

24 hour wait for an appointment callback – I completed the online form to get an appointment. Over 24 hours later someone rang to make me an appointment. I said I was not impressed at 24 hours to get a call back. I said I was no longer interested as I had made one with competitor. She laughed as she hung up phone. I stressed to the receptionist that I was going to see my surgeon on the 10.10.24 and was assured that the report was to be put on a priority list

I saw my surgeon on the 10.10.24 only to be told by him that he had not received the report

I phoned the Subiaco branch to report this breach and after speaking to a 2nd person was given a perfunctory apology and told that the report would be sent within the hour

This is pathetic and unprofessional

DO NOT take your baby to SKG Murdoch – If I could put less than 1 star I would. DO NOT GO HERE FOR BABY ultrasound or anything else for that matter. Receptionists incapable of doing their simple job, made an appointment two weeks in advance only to be told we weren’t. Possibly the best customer service in Australia – We have visited 3 different SKG Radiology locations across Perth WA in the last 9 months and every single time we met friendly, efficient and communicative staff, going the extra miles when requested.

find. I’m super grateful because I wouldn’t hesitate now to return. It’s easy to put procedures off or avoid them but when treated so respectfully and put at ease it makes the avoidance much easier to move through. Thankyou Neil.

Very poor, delayed service – Had an MRI for a painful foot 22nd March at SKG Murdoch. Today is the 9th April and despite numerous phone calls from myself and my referring GP I dont have a report. They are happy to demand up front payment but fail to deliver anything. Meanwhile my GP wont prescribe any treatment/medication so Im struggling to get around for almost 3 weeks. Very poor service!

Bad experience – Attended Mandurah SKG last November. They advised me that they would put the account to Medicare for a claim. Months went by then I started to receive overdue notices. Medicare they said the cheque was in Canberra to be sign, I would receive the cheque to pass onto SKG. They advised that Mandurah DID NOT submit the claim. It was being paid because I had finally lodged a claim online. This has caused me a lot of unnecessary stress, they told me misinformation. I won’t be attending SKG in the future. Pick up your game.

Reception staff are extremely rude and discriminate against people with disabilities. Injection more painful as result! – Booked an appt for joint injection @MtLawley. The Front Reception female staff were extremely unhelpful re their demand to fill out a "patient consent form" They were advised by the patient, that as she is disabled she is unable to fill it out. refused to assist, cancelled her appt, and began lecturing her on why she didn't bring someone with her to assist her. Attempts to request a manager were refused, "fill in our feedback form" Lol. Its Highly discriminatory to tell a disabled person whom can't fill out their patient form, to fill out feedback form! These staff refused to call their manager to receive my complaint. SKG patient accounts, Then sent the patient a letter advising her she'd be banned from using all their service's at all locations due to her Recent call and dealing with staff" ! Without speaking to her first about her complaint!!? If you suffer any type of impairment- AVOID SKG! A call to SKG "manager" stated to me to return for injection. We did that, but injection was extra painful then it is normally, with extra local anesthetic injected as I felt everything what they were doing to my spine! It makes me suspicious, and I feel this was the retribution I received for complaining, more pain! I never received any apology either!

Would be my last choice of a imaging provider – Used SKG for two MRI reports 1.5 years apart. The 2nd report was virtually a carbon copy of the 1st and both missed a diagnosis leading to unnecessary pain and further damage over that period. report missed a barn door'! and I was then operated on within days. My advice is if you have repeat imaging done for the same condition consider using a different imaging service and consider making SKG your last choice of provider. NB: My issue is with the report aspect and not the actual imaging. It's worth noting that even accurate images are wasted if the specialist only reads the report and fails to look at the actual images ! Also, it took three weeks to get the imaging done and approx a month to get a report and a poor one at that - too long IMO especially if you are in pain.

Fees for making a phone call to Biotronic – I think that charging 150 dollars for a phone call to Biotronic prior to mri with a pacemaker is excessive and shocking for someone on a pension I can never have an mri again

Scammers or unknowledgeable, likely both – Called to book an abdominal ultrasound, as a health care card holder. Was told they don't bulk bill for that. I asked if anywhere does. Was told no. Was further told that they are the cheapest in town. So discouraging me to look elsewhere. Called I-Med Radiology, told it would be bulk-billed and also had several more earlier appointments than SKG. Disgusting practice, corporate greed.

the phone today told me it was quite normal for a CT scan to take two weeks to be reported. As someone who worked there for several years until mid 2020, no it is not and especially not when I was told it would be flagged as express yesterday. There are plenty of other radiology providers in Mandurah, this is not competitive.

SKG Wembley on (08) 9489 0800 do NOT answer their phones, not ever – Phone them up and they put you on hold for many hours and never answer the phone lines. Upload a referral and good luck. They may get back to you in two weeks time. They need to hire more staff. Its faster to drive up to SKG Wembley to book an appointment than wait on the phone for hours only to get disconnected. the phones ringing and staff are chatting to each other over picking up the phone lines.

Management needs the CEO to go and do an undercover boss and go there to see what they are doing so badly wrong.

Their technicians for doing scans are great but their receptionist are plain lazy not to answer phone calls.

If you need a scan from your DR ask your GP to phone in for a scan and only then they'll have someone to answer the phone.

Management needs to sack people that do not pick up the phones because they are to busy talking about non related work and what they are doing on the weekend on their days off.

They used to always answer the phones after a few rings.

Expensive – I had a CT scan and was left with a near $500 bill (after the medicare rebate was refunded). What I didn't know is that a lot of Radiological centres bulk bill, but not SKG. The Drs use SKG Referral forms. Why is this? Do they get money from SKG for sending you to them?? Did you know you can use your SKG referral to go to any other radiologist… Read more

Centre? Receptionist, accounts staff unhelpful and obstinate (they don't want you going anywhere else). Don't use SKG - go somewhere else - it will be cheaper and quicker to get in.
