Smata

I agree with other reviews and that SMARTA is altogether too smart by half, it has a format where it is impossible to select pages and print them, they require credit card details which they then share with another company called Link Finder. I imagine younger people would be able to navigate around this sort of program but for older people who represent the vast majority of owners it is simply overcomplicated and totally unnecessary. A good Strata management company should have a dedicated website for each building with free and easy access to all the documentation relating to that building available to owners.
Follow-up · I assume by asking me to write a follow-up you rectify the problems I identified. Fat chance!
SMATA is not user friendly – SMATA is not user friendly. I am a committee member. When our strata management company signed us up for SMATA we were not given any instructions as to how to use it. Since then I requested they provide some simple, easy to follow, easy to understand instructions. They sent me the link to a 12 minutes and 24 seconds training course. Too much of my time is already spent on strata work for which I do not receive any payment. One of the staff at our strata company told me there have been lots of complaints from clients about this software and the difficulty in using it. AND then there are the emails they send. The subject bar does not tell you what the email is about. It just says 'Daily email digest' - whatever that means. The Daily email digest does not tell you the purpose of the email. SMATA has taken up too much of my time.
