Nutritional values are out of date – I bought this scale to use for the purpose of carbohydrate counting for my daughter with Type 1 diabetes. Unfortunately you need to purchase the item to access the code booklet and then plug in the codes to the scales to get the nutritional amounts. The carb amounts are not accurate for any of the food items that I cross referenced. After reading the Manual I discovered that the nutritional information is based on the German Federal Food Index Version 11.3 dated MAY 1999.

The out of date information had made this a waste of money and time and I’m really disappointed.
