Sofabaton U2. So many defects – When it's working it's fine. But it has many defects and can be frustrating. Support ignore defects. (1) The Device configuration files are full of errors. I have had to try many different Sony TV models until I find one that works. I have reported the errors but after many months they remain broken. (2) The remote will frequently and randomly send two key presses instead of one. 25% of the time. Very frustrating when trying to navigate through YouTube videos.

(3) The Learning process requires you to "Press and Hold" the key on the original remote. It will then record that same key press many times. If you try just one key press it fails and asks you to hold the key down. When you use the key on the Sofabaton it sends the key many times. For example one key press will increase volume 6 times rather than once.

(4) Lost configuration. It can take a lot of effort to program these remotes. I have lost configuration multiple times. You can see your device list but all the keys have lost their configuration.

(5) There is no way to Backup your configuration. There should be a way to save a config file so that it is easy to reload config if it is lost. The product is not reliable.

(6) Failure to connect. The product can get stuck in a loop where it fails to connect to your phone. Bluetooth pairing fails. And then after many attempts it connects. It's not reliable.
