I had 2 ps4 consoles over 13 years and they were great. Had a ps5 for 4 months. Nothing like they advertised, good graphics but thats it. Horrible internet connection, poor response and never had this many issues on a console. Will not purchase again, now switching to Xbox as they care for their users. Very disappointed. Show details

have EVER asked for any kind of reimbursement or support with accidental purchases.

Instead of showing any goodwill or understanding toward a long-time customer and a genuine mistake involving a child, they hid behind policy and offered nothing.

Very disappointing customer service and a terrible way to treat loyal customers. Makes me seriously reconsider continuing with PlayStation in the future.

absolutely no way that a garbage ps5 controller has more battery life than my phone when it can't even handle a full day of gaming. My Xbox controller can go almost a week without a charge. Even if that was the only problem it already has stick drift to the left side and it's just extremely cheap feeling. Plus the controller feedback with the triggers and the vibration made me turn off every single setting for it like that.

Then don't even get me started on the games. Not ONE SINGLE DECENT RACING GAME. Assetto Corsa was just terrible cars do not feel like that. Absolutely no traction in corners over 40. I rip turns in my Hyundai every single day on the way to work going twice as fast and have no issues slamming into walls cause lack of steering. Then grab Turismo is just as bad but in different ways. It looks horrible for one. Thought ps5 was supposed to be so fantastic on graphics. The backgrounds on the original grid for 360 was just as detailed and it certainly felt better playing too. The only good racing game on here is cross platform so it doesn't belong to just playstation and that's wreck fest. And I still end up playing that on my Xbox one yes the original Xbox one. Over this garbage playstation because of this horrible controller I really wish they would just do away with. They're too small, the thumb pads have the absolute worst shape to them and cause so much thumb fatigue. You can't even change the lights on the controller I can make the light on my Xbox elite controller whatever I want. Even the gimmicky things that is supposed to be cool about the controller makes it worse than it should be. If I could find an off brand 3rd party controller id have it already.

It came with everything you need to start playing. You can download free games via the store. You will need to be connected to the wifi/internet to use this feature or to play online games.

Easy to set up. Has two cables- 1 is to connect to the TV and the other is to the power board/wall. I find that the cable that connects to the TV could be longer, but it's not an issue for us as our TV is low and close to the console.

The disc compartment is smooth going in and out. There is a button you can press to eject. The console lights up when on, and off when turned off. Runs quietly for a luxury game play experience.

The top collects dusk easily and builds up on the top. With frequent dusting shouldn't be an issue. Do not recommend it being stored away in a cabinet as the console heats up.

There is a cable included for charging the remote control while you use it. It is long enough to be connected to the controller for continuous play.

The controller acts as a remote for using YouTube or other apps. It has an inbuilt microphone for connecting/talking to other online players and can be muted with a press of a button (buttin orange light on). Has a cool Playstation icon- one press takes you to the menu. It is user friendly, smooth functions and buttons, and comfortable to hold for long play. It also has vibration function.

Overall, the PS5 is on the expensive side, however we're very happy with the purchase and worth the wait. Recommended to any gamers for an amazing gaming experience.

expansion but ultimately they should have incorporated the Xbox series X cartridge system. I do not find the loading as advertised, i have spiderman ps4 version and played it on the ps5 and yes it was faster loading but it loaded, the ps5 version of spiderman i also played and they changed the coding to some degree so there is no loading. I also find the size of the console too big, its huge, im fortunate that i had an allotted space for it but the size of it is a prob for really a lot of people.

One thing i have noticed is that the console itself is quiet - major improvement, however you play a disc and wow you wished you had the digital only as the noise of the disc drive is insane. The reason why i gave 4 out of 5 stars, it is good console and worthwhile buying, but its not all the ticks as its declared to be

PLAYSTATION 5 TRUE WORK OF ART – Best console ever , even though close to the PS4 it's so further away. Great Console – Great media console. Sony continues to provide good exclusive games and the console is easy to use. No issues so far with the hardware. Worst customer service I pay for games and bigger subscriptions for access to better games then they lock me out of these games that I have paid for then they hang up on me I’ve been owning PlayStations since ps1 loyal customer and this is how they treat me I’m deleting all subscriptions I was looking forward to new games coming out but it won’t be on PlayStation.

With the ps5, Sony has introduced some of the most restrictive, unintuitive and just plain stoopid parental controls. They are so bad that it is really not worth using and have to be circumvented. Children must be over 13 years of age to play roblox, minecraft, etc. No other platforms have these restrictions. Basically, ps5 is useless for children under 18. Serious fail Sony!!

Store is overpriced, games are always always cheaper on PC and Xbox. Controllers are also overpriced and built to fail. PS support is completely useless and only available certain times.

My console died after just three years, stuck on the blinking blue light. I’ve had it on now for 12 hours and in that time it says it’s downloading Spider-Man but hasn’t got past 45gb for the last ten hours despite there being more than enough storage for it! At least with my Switch, when I buy a physical games and put it in the Nintendo it actually plays the game.

Games don’t save – I get the console being released with a bug, but it came out years ago. By this point Sony should have patched the bug, and I’ve looked on the internet and its a common bug, of course the best solution is pay a monthly subscription to them, but what about those of us who can’t access the internet every time we play. Show details
