New Pool Light – Straight forward change over of the light. Looks and feels like a quality product and being LED it should save some money running it, especially when it gets left on. Awesome.

Rubbish – Same as other reviewers below, pool light doesnt get used a lot, I was happy with it initially, I wasnt expecting it to fail so quickly, I certainly wont be using their products again, installed March 2019, died November 2020

A waste of money – I purchased these lights 2 years ago and regretted it from the beginning. The beam of light is narrow so the sides of the pool is dark where the rest is bright. When I complained to them they brushed me off. Here I am 2 yrs later and one has already failed so I am replacing them but NOT with Spa Electrics. I learn from my mistake.

Lasted only 4 years – Very disappointed - only lasted a few years, despite being installed by pool installer. Pulled unit apart and water had got in via seal on front lens. Pretty poor sealing arrangement. Waste of money buying same again.

Misleading - needs to be removed from pool for cleaning – We bought this light at a cost of around $400 because we thought it would be maintenance free, the instructions stated "no serviceable parts". After we had it fitted (underwater of course) we were told by the shop that actually to clean it we would need to have it removed from where it was fitted to bring it out of the pool each time, then remove the front lense cover. The front lense cover is prone to cracking if not removed extremely carefully, and if it cracks it's not covered by the Warranty.

If the cleaning instructions had been clearly set out in the manual (no mention of this process in there at all) then we never would have bought this light. I spoke to the manufacturers and said I felt mislead but they weren't interested in the slightest, just said "ok" and that was it - then they went on to confirm that yes, we were expected to get into the water to remove the light every time it needs cleaning.

There are much better and cheaper lights out there that truly are maintenance free.
