Paid $10 for small cushion insert and the insert cushion came to small for the cushion cover as well as it looked used and all clumps, would not use that for my great grandchild so we got our own cushion insert and replaced the garbage that we paid for from Spatz.

and paste answer at 1.30am so obviously he didn't check the progress. The next morning I asked him to check the actual progress and he said it was in stage 3 of 6. Next thing you know, a matter of hours later, I receive a email saying its completed and on its way.
When I received the dinner sets i was surprised at how poorly they were wrapped. Just in a spatz bag which two out of the three were torn, No bubble wrap and no box. Its amazing that the items werent smashed.
He seems to have a problem with following up on enquiries and his customer service judging by other peoples experience is very poor.
I have no idea how on his website he has such a high rating.
I wouldn't buy from this company again. I could put up with his nonsense replies but not the standard of the actual product.

Cannot see the name on the towel. Last 3 letters are too dull – Purchased a towel - can see the first 2 letters of the name on the towel and then the next 3 letters are so faint you can hardly see it. Too long to arrive, not right size anyway – Ordered baby announcement product that out dog could wear. Took more than three weeks to arrive (with express post) so couldn’t actually use it to tell our family about being pregnant. Order as soon as you discover you’re pregnant or don’t bother at all. Terrible quality – We received a cutlery and plate set as a gift, as soon as my son opened it the fork fell on the floor from the couch which isn’t very high. For a child you would think it would be more resistant that that. I contacted the company and they said I’d have to pay $10 shipping fee which is pretty unreasonable due to a manufacturing fault. Love the personalised backpack – Bought my daughter a personalised backpack, love the design and it’s a good size for her to wear to daycare. She loves it. The quality is average, but its not really that bad. Everything works fine on it even after a year of lots of use.

Would not recommend this company – I Placed on order on 30 Oct 2023. Due to confusion with turn around times with product I realised I wouldn’t receive the goods in time for a special Occassion. I reached out to the company two days later. Tracked my order and identified that work has not been commenced on my purchase. Company refused to cancel order or negotiate a solution! 28 days later I received purchase!
Misleading advertising – Baby wrap ordered with 'matching" headband, wrap received was mauve, headband white, not, matching, wrap was meant to be white, when asked if could be corrected, was spoken to rudely then ignored, even blocked on social media

POOR PRINT QUALITY FOLLOWED BY HORRIBLE SERVICE – I ordered 6 plates with photos of my family on them. The printing on them is terrible. We all look VERY sunburnt. They were quick to reply to my email in regards to this, however were very dismissive an say that the quality is no problem and it is normal. The images provided were high quality and not at red in the face, quite pale actually. Don't both ordering or you too will be disapointed.

Poor products and even poorer customer service, don’t waste your money! – I purchased two personalised leather dog collars from here. One was good, the other one the name wasn’t printed/stamped properly. I wanted to return and get a new one done, but they wouldn’t do that. They were quite rude also, not wanting to refund my money. Simply not good enough. I won’t buy from here again.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!! – I purchased a personalised baby set and was not advised of the delivery times until after they had my money. The delivery took more than a month, and only after I complained how slow it was (not peak season). I received an ABUSIVE email in response. They also did not add my gift card or who the sender was so new Mum had no idea who the gift was from. ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I received my order today. Looked at the products as I took them out of the delivery parcel.
The products are very cute.
But I noticed 1 set of bib and burp cloth sets have material peeled off or already missing.
Contacted Spatz. Provided photos. Met with: that's "not a quality issue and it won't be replaced."
Now I'm concerned the products won't last long after actual being used.
I should've read all the negative reviews prior to purchasing.
Font size – I was very unhappy with my order for my new born I orderd a wrap and beanie with my sons name. The wrap had large print and beanie had small it looks funny I msgd them to change it and absolutely no help.
Top lid straw not leak proof – Purchased a personalised water bottle for my son. The water leaks from the top. After contacting spatz they didn't really help me, all they advised was the top straw is not leak proof. Very silly, seeing if it not held upright then water leaks everywhere. Has leaked in my baby bag, many times on the floor. Not practical for a toddler.
Personal plates – I bought 2 large plates for my grandchildren for Christmas. It said dishwasher safe top shelf, large plates can’t go on the top shelf, so they went in the bottom they buckled. They won’t do anything about it. I’ll never buy from this company again. There product is expensive and rubbish

What customer service – having ordered 2 printed towels in mid November with an expectation of receiving it for xmas we have not heard anything from them until I emailed politely asking for any update. I was met with a 'copy & paste' of details from the invoice and a 'clearly states..' message. They have not clarified what is happening with the order and were rude and belligerent. required it on the 19th December to give as gifts at our family Christmas party. Therefore, within minutes I sent an email asking for a refund. The order and the request for a refund were all placed out of business hours, meaning there was no way they had begun processing my order. I received a reply back saying that no refunds are given during peak period. When I queried this, I was told that processing times are published on there website. I checked this and when purchasing from my phone, processing times only appear at checkout and is stated in a large slab of small text. A reasonable person would expect to be able to order Christmas presents within Australia and receive it within 3 weeks. To attest to this, I have had to order these items from two different companies. Both orders were placed and received within under a week from interstate companies! This company are now refusing to respond to my communication and still refusing to refund my order. Even if it does appear at checkout, a reasonable company would process a refund when requested immediately! And it is legal to just point blank refuse refunds at particular times of the year. Judging by the many many terrible reviews online, it would seem they wouldn’t process one at any time of the year. I am now going through the Ombudsman to get my money back but am hoping this review will save other the trouble. There are heaps of other great companies out there in Australia that make and sell personalised water bottles use them and avoid Spatz at all cost!!!

I wanted (all I wanted was a new passport cover processed express as it was for Christmas) they just refunded me without even emailing me to apologise. Rude and unprofessional. I will never buy from there again and I will make sure anyone that even thinks of buying from there doesn’t. Check out Etsy, they have some amazing personalised items and at least you’ll be buying from small businesses that actually care!
