It’s ok for my needs as a solar shower – This solar shower comes in a compact bag for easy transport. It’s easy to fill, but you can’t fill it too full. It works better with space at the top to build air pressure in. I found that one of the caps on the foot pump needs to be open when operating the foot pump. It does require regular pressure on the foot pump to keep up the pressure of the water flow. It seems to heat up the water quite well for hot showers or for doing the dishes with. Overall, I’m quite happy with it. But I’m glad I bought it on sale.
Purchased in at Anaconda Physical store for $15.
Most adequate item from 82 yr old – 1. Write / supply an instruction sheet 2. Leave the new hose fold kinks in the sun to soften to allow water flow 3. Only 3/ 4 fill to get spray strength Because if full to the top with water, there is only a small airspace above the water to pressurize the spray. (As some water is used that small airspace loses its pressure quickly. ) 4. Blue pump section uppermost/ leave valve on this top section open 5. Pump with foot slow and deep on top of the blue section down firmly onto the black section to squash, hearing bubbles go into the water tank. As you lift your foot, the blue section fills up with air again Continue pumping until the bag is firm and so continually pressurised 6. Funnel might be useful if no sun enabling a top up with extra warm water if you are precious I have all shower types including an instant gas shower unit and this little unit is ok for hubby for me to shower rinse off with enough water.
Purchased in for $49.

Great idea, poor execution – The idea of this camp shower is great. A 15 l pressurised container that heats up in the sun and a long hose and shower nozzle with a switch. Ideal for showering yourself while camping, and at least in design far superior than the bags you have to find a tree or support under which you need to stand while gravity does the showering for you. Sadly the execution was not up to the idea. The first shower we got the pump valve was completely non-functional. So we returned it and exchanged it.
The second shower the valve partially worked sometimes putting pressure into the shower but sometimes pumping it straight out of the exhaust valve.
No amount of checking or cleaning of the valve seem to make any difference. Everything looks like it was functioning as designed.
The net effect of this is you have to do lots of pumping to get enough pressure to have a shower, But the water flow is extremely intermittent because you can never maintain enough pressure. You also have to pump continuously, because only some of the air from the pump goes into the shower the rest gets wasted.
After only 3 days of use the pump failed completely and a tiny hole appeared along the seam, rendering the shower completely useless.
It's also worth noting that the carrying handle for the shower appears to be very thin material. Although I did not have any problems with this, largely because I didn't own the shower for long enough, it would not surprise me if these eventually rip when you're trying to carry around 15 kg. However this does not affect the star rating because I didn't actually have any problems with the handle.
So after the above experience I'm unable to give it anything other than one star, particularly considering the second replacement we got appeared to be perfectly functional as per design. I suppose the one star can be for the design idea.
The attached pictures show the troublesome valve and where the seam eventually split.
