Just what we were looking for!

Spriggy is exactly what we, as parents, were looking for! The pre-paid wallet (VISA) has given our kids the freedom to start early in managing their own finances, in a safe environment. The in-app chat support and parent wallet for top-ups made is very convenient.

Spriggy is not so spriggy

Takes too long to transfer money from connected account to parent wallet.
After setting weekly pocket money, the money disappeared from parent wallet but does not show in kids account.
Contacted Spriggy through their automatic messaging system last night now still waiting for a response.
For a system that we are charged to use, you'd expect a more prompt approach to respond to enquiries of concern. No wonder they don't have a direct contact number.

Easy, simple and quick

A great way to keep track of your child’s spending/saving. Great for when they are not with you and need money fast! Easy to see where $$ are being spent and keeps both the child and parent informed. Kids love the awesome physical card

Spriggy log in issues

Cindy from tech support was very helpful in solving my issues for my daughter's spriggy. She assessed the situation first and came up with the strategy
and of course constant effective communication plays a significant role in problem-solving. Good job Cindy and your team! All the best Show reply

Such an amazing tool. Life with a young teenager would be much more complex without it

The perfect balance of freedom and limits for my pre-teen and teen in terms of learning how to manage their own money. Makes everything a lot easier for me too! Show reply

High fees, no interest, extremely hard to transfer funds out of

Was good, until they increased the fees by 30%. Transferring money out is a joke and can take up to 5 days.. There is no interest earned on savings and cannot transfer cents (whole dollars only). Theory is good, value is not. Try Westpac's youth saver - earn interest, no fees and they are running a current offer of a $50 bonus.

At this stage it is not possible to add funds to your Spriggy membership by cash at physical location. The only way to add funds is from a linked bank account or debit card.

Why are some people referring to a $30 membership fee, others pay $60. I find the fees attached to this card prohibitive. What am I missing ?
