happened yet- I then have contacted Spriggy 5 times via phone and attempted 4 times via the chat since then with no resolution- I tried to cancel it myself via the app but it won't work. The App ‘thinks' and then does nothing. I waited 30 minutes of the app thinking before giving up-please please help me cancel! my son needs a phone I cannot wait any longer and would rather use Spriggy then find another mobile company but I’m losing patience
I deposited $100 in my grandsons Spriggy account which he received. Four days later Spriggy attempted to withdraw $100 on five attempts from the debit account card I used to deposit my grandsons money. Rang Spriggy to report a possible fraud attempt, and received a message that they do not take calls on their helpline. I had to cancel my debit card to stop the repeated attempts to charge my card. Dodgy at worst terrible service at best.

Spriggy Mobile is ok, but the main issue is when you get charged the monthly fee, and if the money is not there, they disconnect your service that day. These are for children. you don't get disconnected within 24 hours and can still receive calls. Not phased that my child can not ring out, but at least I can still contact them, not with Spriggy. You have a couple of hours to make a payment, but there is no way to make a payment without contacting customer service every time; it is such a nuisance. No ease of access to do things at all

Payment was taken immediately and I received confirmation via SMS and in the Spriggy app, which stated the SIMs were processing and would arrive within 10 days. They never arrived. channel (online chat) on 8 December 2025 and was told there was a processing issue with the order — despite the fact they had taken my money and confirmed the orders. I was told the issue would be escalated and I would receive an update within 24–48 business hours.
That never happened.
As of 13 December 2025, I had received no SIM cards, no service, no refund, and no communication. I was forced to go in-store to another provider to get working services.
Taking payment and failing to supply the service, then failing to resolve it or even follow up, is unacceptable. Based on my experience, Spriggy Mobile’s customer service and order handling cannot be relied upon.
I have lodged a complaint with the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman and am pursuing a full refund.
Avoid this service.

Great for under 13’s but as soon as we changed to SPRK 13+ the next day my son was out at the shops trying to get home and the card was blocked. No phone number to contact them. received the SIM cards only one arrived. Upon further review, two of the orders said they were “still processing” on the app.
My first contact with Spriggy Mobile chat centre on April 14 was short lived. The operator was rude and told me it was my fault and I would just have to apply online (at a greater monthly cost) and there was nothing they could do. My second chat a day later was with a much nicer operator who said they had escalated the issue and I would hear from Spriggy within 2-4 business days. I have contacted Spriggy Mobile chat twice since, with each person claiming it’s being dealt with. My last contact was on Tuesday 29th of April where the operator assured me someone would contact me within 24-48 hours via email. True to form, it’s now Saturday the 3rd of May and I’ve heard nothing and I’ve still got two children without mobile access.
I’m really disappointed as the Money side of Spriggy is great, but I cannot believe how poor the customer service has been for the Mobile plans. I would not recommend anyone use Spriggy Mobile.

practice. I'm a lawyer and I was misled the average person will be scammed easily .Plus it's impossible to contact . I literally emailed support and they sent a reply to go online and contact support . I did that and it's a chat bot. Seriously it's a chat bot that's the support. I originally thought it was monthly but it's yearly and that is no longer the point. The federal government is looking at legislation to ban this type of behaviour the impossible to cancel scam it's important people do not support this behaviour. I would have paid if it was not a nightmare to get out. This is not a new problem with this company tell your friends warn people of the behaviour.

Follow-up · Spriggy contact fixed the delay issues. Still had app login issue. Only one other bank in Qld will do a kids under 14yrs account with a visa/ master debit card. Spriggy has its floors but not many other options for kids under 14.

I used / use SPRK 13+ mode and Normal spriggy and i found it great fun. SPRK 13-17 , NORMAL 5-17 / 5-12 Money: Money usage was good safe and secure. both, More so using normal spriggy just because it has lest money and people at ATMs can just steal with SPRK 13+, Dont worry this is not common, i am just a nervous person.
Fee: did not know about the fee: my Father was upset when he heard about it then i explained why spriggy need 60Bucks every year and he was like fine thats fair i guess.
Great for parents they can lock spriggy when their kid is being stupid with money or something else. They also know their kid is safer on spriggy compared to bank card, PS i like bank cards as well but i like spriggy.
I recommend spriggy its good customs designs were soooooo cool love spriggy. 5 Stars.

Takes too long for transfers from your bank to the parent account. You can see the money leaving your bank account and it takes days for Spriggy to apply it. The fees are also absurd given what’s available for free now for kids through the banks.

service. All that happens is they log your concern. Then you get an email with no solution and no right of reply. So you have to go back to the chat service and it just goes round and round and round and nothing gets resolved. I ended up cancelling but the real kicker is that I still get the weekly tracking emails re safety for a SIM card/account that was cancelled and removed from the phone. These “reports” are pretty much exactly the same every week and I think are clearly a complete fabrication.

port my phone number to another provider. When I contacted Spriggy Mobile for assistance, I was informed that the SIM would be reactivated to allow port-out.
Despite this, my account was still charged on 21 November 2025, even though the service was not functioning.
The SIM/phone number remained inactive and unusable until 27 November 2025 at approximately 1:30 pm. Once it finally became active, I immediately ported my number to another provider. I did not use or consume any Spriggy Mobile services during this period.
I contacted Spriggy Mobile to request a refund given that the service was not operational and I did not use it. Unfortunately, my request was refused mentioned I port out the number before request the refund which make no sense at all

Absolutely no interesting in providing a customer / client focused service. I've had no end of troubles with this provider since inception - unable to competently send a SIM card - refused to provide a tracking number for SIM despite being express mail. to take the money but not keep client up to date on when the mobile service will be available - promised they would call back in 15 mins if there was an issue - I had to a call them back an hour later to ask why the service still wasn't activated - client rep couldn't care less and said that it had been escalated to Technical team and they might EMAIL 1-2 days time... this client rep was sooooo dismissive. This is the same vague promise I’ve heard repeatedly.
Last Saturday, I was told the service would be connected by Monday morning. It’s now Monday, almost noon, and nothing has changed. I called again and asked for a refund, but no one took ownership of the issue. Even when I clearly stated I was unhappy but willing to wait until Monday, no one bothered to contact me to inform me of any further delays.
This shows a complete lack of accountability, poor management, and nonexistent customer relationship practices. It feels like Spriggy Mobile is only interested in collecting the initial registration fee, with no regard for customer satisfaction or follow-up.
I strongly advise others to think twice before signing up. If this review reaches senior management, I hope they take this as a wake-up call to fix their broken processes and start treating customers with respect.

replacement sim - to - your service is already disconnected because we sent you a replacement sim - to - it's been 10 days you haven't received a replacement sim so your sim must be lost in the mail and we will send you a new one but we cannot share the tracking number of the mail that was sent out. The customer service is unapologetic and speak like a robot. The advertising about kids safety is misleading and my child has been put at risk due to no data and no telephone and txt service for many weeks now.. I will be reporting them to Telecom Ombudsman. Please stay away from Spriggy mobile and let's work towards shutting down such scammers from Australia.

Terrible experience. I was charged 78 AUD even after cancelling the cards. No way to contact them and no matter how many messages that I have sent to them, I have not had any reply. I’ve had numerous login issues. The helpdesk ‘chat’, while they aim to be very helpful, for a busy parent the response time can be challenging to fix issues in one sitting. My son has had a few transactions rejected at POS but the funds have been withdrawn from his account anyway - should be easier to dispute a transaction however they’re accommodating in the end. Fine when it works. But when it inevitably doesn't your kids will be stuck somewhere without money and support is patchy at best. Also doesn't do a great job of teaching about saving without an interest bearing option. We switched to something more reliable, with interest on savings.

Spriggy mobile plans for kids is an absolute joke. Don't waste your time with this company as they provide a very underdone service which needs many improvements. Customer service is good but the rest of it should be avoided. The app doesn't work as it supposed to and the level of parental monitoring is minimal and underwhelming.
