Fantastic at cleaning coffee & tea stains from stainless steel thermal mugs – I confess I didn’t buy these for dentures, but for banishing coffee & tea stains from my stainless steel thermal mug that wouldn’t shift from manual scrubbing, soaking and even a few cycles in the dishwasher. The stains just got worse and worse, and I was on the point of giving up and chucking the mug when I vaguely remembered something about denture tablets.
I picked up a pack from Coles. Following the package instructions of using warm water with 1 tablet and leaving it for 3 minutes, was pretty impressive with lots of stains lifted.
I followed up immediately, using a second tablet, ignored the instructions and poured in hot, just boiled water and left it to soak. When the water cooled, I rinsed the mug out and the insides were once again shining like new!
Bottle not sealed – I bought this product via Coles.. Although it is a personal hygiene product, I was amazed that the 200g bottles of Steradent Active Plus, were not sealed. This in itself does not seem very sanitary or safe. I will never purchase this product again, due to the unhygienic packaging of this dental care product Did not use as containers are not sealed Not Hygienically Sealed
