from beginning to end was quick, painless and genuinely easy. With the most recent loan, even the vendor couldn’t believe the turnaround – the car was purchased on Sunday and cleared funds were received by lunchtime Tuesday. Based on past experiences, I didn’t think that was even possible.

Mina is on point. She was very helpful and informative but most of all, she is a loveable person. Super easy to talk to. The customer service representative was initially pleasant, but his tone became increasingly passive-aggressive as the conversation continued. He first asked about our rent. to believe. He said, in a dismissive tone, that it was lower than usual and that we would need to prove it with a rental agreement.

He then asked about our expected loan rate. The dealership had offered us 7.5% at the time, and we said we were looking for a rate that could beat it. This appeared to be the point where the conversation changed. In his own words, he said that we did not have an asset yet and that he did not think a financial institution would approve us for that rate. He told us to check with those dealers first and call back if they could help.

That was the entire conversation. If that's how you are trained to talk to a potential customer, then that says a lot about the financial institution.

Ironically, the dealership did approve us, and we ultimately secured an even better rate of 6.24%. My wife is a doctor, and I believe that helped. I would never go do business with Stratton Finance unless they are the last vendor left on planet Earth. I would advise the same to friends in my network. Totally disappointed.

I recently applied for a small car loan through Stratton Finance as they had such wonderful reviews but I haven't been at all happy with the service I received. the car I was going to buy ($320) and then put a deposit down with the dealer ($200) and signed the contract. After 2 days of giving Stratton more and more information I was eventually turned down. The person I dealt with denied saying that I had 'pre-approval' (I have a witness to this and he was on loud speaker) and also denied other things that he had said. I would definitely not recommend Stratton Finance at all. I am now $520 out of pocket all based on what I was told at the beginning of the process. They also quote a much lower figure initially and then add 2% to the greatly inflated loan rate that they eventually arrive at - from originally saying 8 - 9% to a hefty 12%. Pretty poor.

Strung us along, kept us waiting with no answers and blocked our number, pretty unprofessional in our opinion

Every step throughout the process with Kevin was explained perfectly and promptly. If I ever had any questions or doubts they were squashed immediately and put me at ease. I would 100% recommend Kevin and Stratton Finance to anyone.
