Sungrow SH8.0/10RS

I'm an early adopter of Solar, with my existing 3.2Kw 18-panel system nearing 15 years old. Not wanting to throw away this existing system, I opted to add a new stand-alone 6.6Kw system on my East / West facing roofs, keeping in mind, that one day, I would need to replace the original aging system. My choice of the Sungrow Hybrid Inverter would fulfill my future needs. With the capability to attach 4 strings (of solar PV) and the ability to add and manage up to 4 stacks of batteries in parallel, I am future-proofing my solar investment. The unit is clean and sleek in appearance, and has a smart looking blue LED display, that cycles through the day's inputs (solar production). The accompanying Sungrow iSolar Cloud App is very informative, depicting one's home as various icons with input/output/load...Solar Array (output), Home (load), Grid (load draw) and Battery (input/output). A handy feature is the ability to rapidly charge your battery during off peak rates, to use during peak times....(during cloudy days like today..and yesterday...and the day before.... I am looking forward to my solar future all assisted with my Sungrow Inverter. (note, I did install a Sungrow battery a month later when the Fed passed new battery rebates)
