The quality of the tutors and marking with feedback is really poor, they employ a lot of Indians whose English is really poor and they seem to think they are beyond reproach when they do something wrong - Indian tyrant mentality. This has since been resolved. I explained my situation to the Directorate and they solved this for me. was enrolled in a fee- free program and completed 2 modules and had to withdraw due to divorce and other extreme situations. I enrolled again in Sept 2025 and received a confirmation of my enrolment. 3 weeks before my course started I was withdrawn (by Tafe) and told that I need to pay for my course.
School Based Education Support, Bundaberg. Two months in, 2025, and we were on our third, replacement, on site, one day a week, course teacher. After 6 months of the 12 month course I realised I had to remove the rose colored glasses and resign the course as the on site teacher was not interested in even marking my assignments on time or properly. The drop out rate for this course was astronomical as the year progressed. One wrong answer in an assignment and you are required to repeat the whole subject the next year, as the required marking rate was 100%. Bottom line is, I felt the teacher had 100% control. The work load is heavy. The subject matter is largely based on legal responibilities. The last subject of the year is called Diversity, which I feel is basically is a move away from traditional christian values to replace it with anything but, parts of which in my opinion has the potential to create gross confusion amongst school students and teachers alike. I should say that the different online only study teacher for her subject, was excellent, well organised and helpful. It was also a free course so only cost me my time. Looks like the education rates and standards in Australia for school students are going to continue in their decline.
