Bad click and collect service
I saw an item in store I liked and there were plenty in my size available in store..later that day I decided to place a click and collect order so I could go grab it the next day. (I have kids so outtings are not easy). After not hearing anything I checked my order email and it stated it would be ready 1 week from the time I placed the order...confused I tried to ring the store, i was put on hold for ages and nobody ever answered. So I sent a Facebook message. Target took 3 days to respond with the reason being "we save the items in store for b...uyers in store so your item is coming from another location". So I asked to cancel my order as I may as well just go to the store and grab one myself. They stopped replying to me. I dont think the get the idea of "click and collect" . At kmart or big w and anywhere else if the item is in store you can put it aside with click and collect to pick up same or next day or so. Not very impressed, still waiting on a response.
Online orders - instantly rejected
Target have immediately cancelled/rejected my orders for the past week, no reason given. Yet they also charge the card and place a hold on the money, forcing me to use credit instead. I won't be shopping here in the future and it makes sense why they are all shutting down.
Click + collect and customer service is a complete joke
Placed an order for click and collect for baby clothes that were urgently needed on the 30th of August, I picked only items that were 'in store'. Surprised to discover when paying it wouldn't be ready until 6 Sept, however given little option in Melbourne right now I ordered anyway. Had to call the store on the 9th to be told that they were still waiting for two items to be delivered from other stores (they blamed Aus Post). Now on the 22nd of Sept I just want the order cancelled and refunded and live chat disconnected me for 'not being the acc...ount holder' (I had another name listed for pick up, it was my own account) and have now been on hold for 45 mins to their phone service. Not a single update since I paid for the order that I haven't had to chase up. What is the point of only allowing purchase of items online that are 'in-store' at the click and collect point, if they are not in stock??? Aus Post might be busy but any other delivery has still not exceeded 7-10 days in standard post. Yet they have sent 4 emails asking me to review the items purchased!!
Click and collect a joke...!
your system for click and collect needs to be reassessed along with your customer service support.
Placed an order online 24th august 2020 (click and collect was my only option for this item) at your Perth innaloo store paid for item and within 24 hours received a text message and email to say it was ready for collection.
Nowww.. as this item is quite bulky and ive had a baby trying to find time let alone someone to come with me to collect item...
4 weeks had gone past still needed to collect item now in that time I hadn't received a phone ...call.. text or email to say i needed to collected item by a certain time frame. Go to pick up item from click and collect counter your not so friendly staff member informed me that it was “returned to the floor” I asked how is that possible when the item has been paid in full and I haven’t received any communication or notification that this had been done and basically told me I needed to call Target Australia to get this sorted.
Always under review, rejected orders instant
best way to kick ur customers away, no wonder target kept closing your stores.
Seriously if you want some sales during covid-19 and online shopping, spend some money to improve your website before start to do business
I placed a pre-order for PS5. A few hours later, after pre-order was gone from all online stores, they sent me an email, saying that my order couldn't be processed. When I asked why my order was canceled, they said they do not know. If you do not know, who should I ask!!!! a bunch of idiots. I wish there was something below one star.
I went to Target in Cairns to buy clothes for my grandson, very disappointed with lack of range in size 10 boys and did not buy anything from that department. However grabbed a fathers day book on the way out and couldn't get served. They no longer have staff on checkouts, therefore I will not shop in a store again where one is paying premium prices for cheap product and have to serve myself. I may as well have taken my money overseas, at least you get service. Shame.
Target Forest Hill just ripped me off 20% for click and collect FEE!!!!!!
I have just found out the hard way ( Monday, 07 September 2020 )
Target charged me an extra 20% for a toy even though it is click and collect.
How desperate are this company. We need more competition.
Absolute disgrace. They should be reported to Consumer Affairs & ACCC.
Some of their hidden terms are in such small writing.
They should say sorry and hang their heads in shame.
The person who answered the phone at Target could not care less. Utter disgrace.

Posted to the wrong address
I bought a booster seat on Target online on 24 September. Two days later Target has changed my delivery address to a different State (an address I have never seen in my life) without my Approval. When I discovered this on 28 September I called Target to enquire. At first Target accused me of requesting the change of address, when I swear that I have never made such a request, then Target advised perhaps an operator have changed the address on the wrong order however there is nothing they can do as the item had already been posted. They asked me...to deal with Auspost myself to redirect the parcel. As the Auspost Tracking system was down for a few days it took me ages to redirect the parcel. Until today I still have not received the parcel and not sure how long the transition will take. I have emailed a complaint letter to Target on 28 August. It is now 7 days later I have not received a response from Target, not even a letter acknowledging they have received my complaint. I will progress this to ACCC next week if needs be.
Quick & Easy Online shopping + Click & Collect process!
Jumped online to order some items from Target, quick and easy process from start to finish. Ordered at 0730am and items ready to pick at local Caroline Springs VIC store by 1130am SAME DAY! Fantastic experience, especially during Stage 4 restrictions/COVID.
Terrible Experience with Target Online falling on deaf ears
Bought abt 10 items online addressed to a friend. I received a confirmation email it but it did not include a list of what was ordered and no tax invoice. When I used online chat to get a list they would not release it as the order was going to my friend. This list should be a basic customer service so I can checked I have received all the items. If anyone from Target is reading this please contact for order: 111736250
Doona insert return
I tried to return a doona insert today which I hadn't taken out of the packet.. I also had my receipt.
I was refused because the little plastic tag holding the zip shut was removed. How else are you supposed to see what you're buying?! This is totally ridiculous and I'm not happy. I understand hygiene purposes but there's nothing to look at when you're buying the product...so now I have $140 thing that is useless to me.
No wonder they're going down the tube. I have always had a good experience at Target but this has turned me to shop elsewhere
share a experience at eastgarden westfiled target store
I want to share experience and complain the target store at eastgardens westfield.
I were about to leave with my child at the exit this afternoon. This exit is also close to pay station. People pay and left. Have to walk through a narrow exit. And there is toys shelves right there. There is barbies at the exit . and we stopped couple seconds to look.
The staff at the door whose name is stojka shouted us loundly,” don’t block the way” and asked us to move. I asked her if you want us to move why you put barbie here. She shouted at us you blo...ck the way. And asked us to move one step forward the barbie. She shouted us 3 times. I left as I have kid and I don’t want to her to get frightened. Then when we out, my kid asked me why she so rude and why she shout at us. Did we do anything wrong? I bring her back and talked to this staff. I asked her please do not shout in front of my kid. And you want me to move you can say excuse me and please. She refused and argued with me. And I asked her name she keep covering her name tag. Later. The woman in clothes section beside entry called the manger, and this woman is blaming me that I was not talk to stojka nicely. This woman said all her colleagues all see that stojka talked me nicely and I am not. I said. Do you have camera and look the camera. This woman said its all my fault. Now you can talk to manger. I told manager what happened. Mangers. Clestte and prak, immediately said it is not customer fault. It is store fault. Store put products there and client have look is nothing wrong with it. If stojka want me to move, then she should take the product away. So glad at least the manger are reasonable. I v shopping at target very often as I am local. You v changed this door woman. Last one is very friendly and helpful. And this one is so rude and bad attitude. Target have a lot of kids. How many she want to shout for? And how can the woman saying so many lies to a customer without any evidence?
Affinity wine dinner set
I purchased the Affinity wine coloured dinner set with four mugs online delivered. One of the cups leaked I contacted Target Browns Plains Qld even sent photos, I asked for a replacement to be sent to me being elderly and being safe with Covid19 be told a credit will be sent, what makes me angry is I could go in and order another online and once again pay postage. Certainly no customer service
Absolutely appalling service

Click and Collect order- Target online
Decided to browse Target online for men's bottoms. Site loads seamlessly, selected a pair of pants, prompt pops up that I could save if I buy two. Selected another pair in different colour. Saved almost 25% off each pair! Plenty of payment options, including PayPal!
Items purchased were shown 'in stock' in selected store. Received an email in under one hour that it was ready to collect.
Go into Belconnen store, staff were friendly and directed me to "Click and Collect" point. Order was packed in water tight, sealed bag very neatly.
Target sizing was spot on.
Would definitely shop Target online again!
Disappointed. Disgusted. Appalled.
I paid for 3 pairs of bonds underwear at $30 for 3 pairs, instead of $15 for one pair.
I received in the post today only one pair of bonds underwear with a sticker on the label $15.00 (a pair). However I ordered 3 pairs. The bonds telephone and customer service lines are not answering. I shop at target all the time, I am a big spender! I believe someone has ripped me off.
I will have to issue a refund for the two pairs not received plus psychological trauma from this situation.
I have ALWAYS had good experience with target. I have no idea what has happened, where in the chain this process was corrupted??.
I hope I get my money back and JUSTICE.
Questions & Answers
My daughter received swimwear from Target for Christmas. After wearing them only twice, the bottom and bust area are beginning to pill and the little slivers of elastic within the material are popping out (as they would on older worn out bathers). As they have been worn, and I no longer have the receipt, am I able to exchange them as they are obviously of very low quality (considering what they cost)/faulty? Thanks
