TCL Terrible TV's and Terrible Customer service – The TV is slow... stone-age slow, unresponsive, sluggish to turn on, and change channels. 6 Months the Monitor developed blue lines, cue overseas customer service centre, long waits, promises and no action. Its cheap for a reason, it is rubbish. Don't be fooled by the 3 year warranty, the replacement TV offered was a refurbished model with only 1 year of warranty. TCL is a joke.
ok but need alot of improvements in the smart tv – THE TV I bought 2 months ago was very good in b terms of quality of the display and ease of operation. The wide range of I/O behind the panel was just great. I can hook up my surround sound into my receiver via the spdif/coaxial output. Great but it fails in the smart tv department. Browser or video streaming power off the whole system. Youtube, dailymotion and etc. all causes the tv to crash and off the system unexpectedly. Waiting for it to reboot and the clock, system and schemes allmrestored to default. Come on, TCL, your display is not bad, the sound is good but the softwares(firmwares and updates) and hardware such as RAM for video buffering is severely lacking. I cannot finish a 45min episode of shameless without crashing and I cannot stream more than 15mins on youtube without the tv turning itself off. I bought a smart tv to stream on the web, hence smart tv was once termed "connected tvs" if TCL wants to be at par with Samsung, LG and Hisense, then please make sure it does not crash on every stream. Fix this and definitely a 5 star product because of value and decent screen display
