Food grade multiply stainless steel wok with rack (a wok with lid is deep enough and provides flexibility). There is a brand called Buffalo making these food grade stainless woks. My family has been using it for 20 years and it is still good. It costs about $200.

I have not been able to confirm if BPA Free - Contacting the Company could answer the question. I have not detected plastic smell at any time. We use it for 36 mins daily for vegetables and pre-soaked rice. I had several brands and they don't last long just a year or less

- None as Good as This one! so my man bought me a second one for my Birthday

and this one with proper care has lasted 19 months so far and still going.

I have already given detailed view of pros and cons in comparison with the others.

Hi Crystal, I don't know, I have not seen anything in the manual or on the Box. I would suggest you Google the company and contact them - they can tell you and might think to a) mention it in future manuals b) not use BPAs if customers are concerned. I use it daily and its a great one, the first one lasted for a year, I replaced it with a George Foreman but did not work for me so my man bought me another Vitacuisine and I am as happy as can be :)
