TENA Men's Protective Underwear Level 4
3 reviews
I have to wear these as I have a catheter which doesn’t help to keep everything in place where it should be, and I have tried both the Tena and the Depend brands, available from Woolworths supermarket. Comparing the Tena brand with the Depend brand, I have found Tena is more comfortable to wear, and tends to keep any stray leakage confined to the absorbent pad. With the Depend brand, and I’m not sure who designed these (or even wore them) but I find they’re uncomfortable, they leak, and the absorbent pad is too short. Also there’s no indication on which way round they should be worn. Whereas the Tena brand has a’label’ to indicate the front from the back. Given a choice between the two, try the Tena brand. There’s more in the pack than Depend which makes them a little cheaper.
Purchased at Woolworths Physical store for $15.50.

Excellent product just what I need. Recommended by hospital – Bought one TENA MEN washable underwear from local supermarket. Saw advertisement with discount online. Orderd 8 units on 19/10/2023. Goods arrived today 20/10/2023 to regional Victoria. My mistake in not checking I had ordered the small ones, but they are still OK. If I could lose some weitght it would help! Promptly ordered 8 more 'large' size. Paid same price, no issues. Arrived 2 business days later. Never had such quick service like this - incredible. Comfortable and better than sticky pads. First class service.
Purchased in for $168.

Design Issues – Very difficult to put on, especially if you are elderly, are arthritic and have limitations on how well you can bend. Also very smelly even with the slightest amount of discharge, the odour goes right through the whole bedroom and can be smelt in other parts of the house. I have found a brand with side strip fasteners and will be using those in future.
