Is there a firmware update for the AB-32HDC2 it does not support HD channels.
my tv doesn't work I get a " No Signal " prompt or sign I cannot restore programs why is that. ??????

The TV takes between 20 to 30 minutes before picture comes up
When I'm watching anything on tv, DVD or media. The input source keeps popping up and keeps on scrolling down the input source automatically. I try resetting it and re-turning it to no avail. So frustrating and annoying having the input source screen popping up on the right hand side of the tv covering half the tv screen. :(

As I am watching channel 2 or any other channel, the TV keeps going back to DVD, I push source and go to DVT and Press OK and it returns to the channel for another few minutes and it keeps dropping back to DVD, with no tape written on the screen, but I don’t want any DVD I want the channel but it keeps dropping away. Any ideas?

Do u need a vivid TV remote to use the DVD player on the TV?
We have only used the vivid remote but the quality of the tv is poor and it is tempramental. Sometimes it turns on by remote and sometimes by button on tv. Sometimes neither work. We have not found any other remote that works but we do not have any latest technology.

Can anyone help me with the "No Signal" Problem? I'm at my witts end, I'm a rather poor guy with hardly any income and my local Aldi had this tv about 3 months ago, so I bought it, I live in a small house with just me so after it worked perfectly for about 2 months I gave away my old tv, and now this has happened..
Its just a crap TV.Take it back for a refund (you have 1 yr) and purchase another brand. This appears to be a common probelm with this TV. Mine started doing this 1 week after the warranty was up. I took the TV back and they wouldnt do anything to help. (I had receipt and warranty card with me). I left it on the cash register and walked out. NEVER EVER would I recommend this TV to anyone. I counted my looses and purchased a TV from Big W for about the same price on special (Sharp) and have never had a problem with it.
On the back of the tv there is a number to call. I have the same tv and mine had the same problem. Got it repaired under warranty. It is a power supply problem. They will come and collect or you can drop it off to a repairer of their choice. Mine works fine now. The number to call is 1300886649 for after sales support they will need all the details on the back of the tv. Hope this helps
It appears these Vivid TV's are not worth their money people you may think their cheap to buy but not if they break down after a couple of years the cost to replace them outweighs their so called cheap price We bought one a couple of years ago it cost $549 had nos issues up till now and just like many others are saying it wont receive a signal. At first I thought it was the antenna but tested a second TV on the same antenna outlet and it worked fine the DVD player built into the TV works fine. We did not use this TV a lot as it was a second TV for the family room/kitchen it was only used for 2hrs a day at the most. We previously had an AKAI TV before this one and it lasted 15 years and was still working when we replaced with this one not such a wise choice. I would not pay to have it repaired I would rather put my money towards a better brand not from ALDI
'No signal' problem. All you have to do is to push the 'source' button on you remote control. Then up comes 'input source'. For your TV to work, you must 'scroll down' and press 'DVT'. Problem solved.
That is if I understand your problem of 'no signal'.
