email saying I did not want it and a lady contacted me by email and cancelled the deal whatever it was. I have since spoke to one of your wine advisors and purchased another case which also seems fine (we have only tried one of the wines). I think it will work out better now that I have a wine advisor who seems to understand my choices.

The best thing is the overall quality of the wines especially European ones. They are usually excellent and often the pricing is good and very competitive . via aramex to my place and they are also excellent. They also of course have a good range of aussie wines and again the quality is good . If I were to have friends over and wanted a classy bottle of wines say from France or Spain they are really good . It seems to me that in the end you can pay around 15 Aussie dollars for a terrific European or Aussie bottle and of course you can buy something cheaper down the street . But what i do like and why I am giving a high rating is the quality .

I have been pleased on the whole with the wines I receive from Australian wines. Only on one occasion was it necessary to send one type of bubbles back, otherwise it has been a good experience. It is an easy process to order for one who is elderly and does not drive anymore. Show reply

Australian wine is great value, and the service is also very good. I would like a greater variety of wines to choose from though. There seems to be a shortage of wines on offer from Germany, Austria and South Africa. Also, the choices for wines from less well-known varieties such as chenin blanc would be good. Show details

We're selective as to which 'specials' we purchase, but we haven't been disappointed to date. We mostly purchase red wines and it is great having two of each bottle, as well as the extra bottles which form part of the special. We've actually purchased two and/or three of each special once we've tried them and know what good value they are.

I have purchased a number of boxes of wine from The Australia Wine- very happy with each bottle. I normally choose wines around $20-$35 a bottle and was hesitant to get the value box so was pleasantly surprised by the quality as most are equal to my preference. Have the unlimited delivery plan which is very good value. The wines marketed are of reasonable/ good quality and they do come with a money back guarantee. Prices do vary for a particular wine so there are opportunities to pick up a favourite at a special price. I suspect they are getting more competition from Liquorland/BWS based on the increased marketing by those companies. Show reply

The wine is excellent, the delivery service through Aramax is terrible because their scanning system is atrocious and you can never find where your wine actually is, its always "on its way". Use someone else please? Show reply

Great range of wines at a very competitive price. Delivery service is also very good. If ever there is an issue it is always resolved on the spot via a phone call. All round great service. Some excellent offers and the wines are always of good quality. The premium "secret" cases have been particularly good containing some really interesting wines. Hopefully it also helps some of the domestic wineries that have been struggling too since some overseas markets closed. My wife, as a white wine drinker only would like to see some equivalents if possible for white drinkers but otherwise no complaints!

I have my own wine consultant, and he is a great help when choosing my wines. I only drink Shiraz, so knows which ones I would love. I have had many different vineyards suggested to me and I now have my favorite wines. I have noticed that, like everything prices have gone up, but my consultant tries to keep within my budget. I have been ordering wine with The Australian Wine for many years. Always a very enjoyable selection … and a great way to try wines I would not normally buy. Great selections and some very good pricing. Terrific range. However the overall offering is badly let down by the delivery arrangements. Order four dozen and several days later two dozen get dropped at your front gate. A few days later another box srrives, then two or three days later the final one. Aggressive salesman. Persistent phone calls after numerous requests to stop calling. I've blocked numerous numbers but they have the never ending phone numbers. Don't engage in their calls because you will live to regret it
