Beware the wrath of the owner – My in store experience was so bad I asked the owner if she was even interested in my project and she asked me what my budget was, I can only assume she would be if it was worth it. What she didn’t know was whilst I said it’s only a couple of rooms it’s actually a full renovation with a previous quote of $80,000. To quote pretty woman “Big mistake. HUGE”. After reading other reviews I’m very glad I didn’t give this woman my buisness
they have relaunched – they have relaunched with a better ordering base but since of the relaunch the products on the website are limited but are expanding each week
Awful service! – Same as everyone below. No answer to my emails or phone calls. It took me complaining on social media to get a response. Luckily I was refunded through PayPal. Do not order from them!!!!
Sham – Read the reviews below. Exactly my experience. Ordered wallpaper. Weeks later no delivery. Emailed and rang and got no response. Got refund through PayPal.
Buyers Beware – Sample fabric ordered, not received. Tried emailing several times with no response. Escalated via a PayPal and received a refund.
Did not receive order. Do not reply to calls or messages – This place has a professional looking website BUT VERY VERY unprofessional customer service. I did not receive my order so I have sent emails & left messages on their phone but they do not respond. I will ask for a refund through Paypal. Do not buy from this company .
Same as all previous reviews – Items ordered on-line and paid for via PayPal not received. Several phone calls made with messages left on their voicemail but zero response. Given all the previous comments I too wonder if The Elephant Room is maybe a scam?
Product not delivered and no communication – I ordered over $600 worth of fabric product from this seller in August 2016 and had received nothing by January 2017. Attempts to communicate (phone, email, seller's Facebook page and via PayPal's message system) went unanswered. I ended up putting in a complaint to PayPal who recovered my money (thankyou PayPal!!).
Absolutely appalling – I placed an online order in the first week of Oct '16. the first phone call, they don't answer calls. It is the most appalling service I have ever received in Australia. I think they need to be investigated for consumer fraud! I bought items from their site which were listed as 'available', expecting that to mean 'available for purchase and delivery' or 'in the country'. I wanted to complete the job quickly.
My experience – I have been strung along since May .paid $604 then, constantly tried calling leaving messages etc, then I found they have a Facebook page and tried writing a message there, which surprisingly i did get an immediate response. I've been strung along like this for months with a constant excuse, i want to believe that she is genuine but really? ???
Terrible – Ordered $300 worth of wallpaper. Money take from account 2 days after order. After 3 months, leaving numerous messages and sending increasingly irate emails I have received nothing and heard nothing. Will try and recover my money through Paypal and Fair Trading. If I could give zero stars I would.
Don't waste your money – We ordered 3 wallpaper samples from the elephant room and paid online. After several phone calls and emails, we are still waiting to receive them. It's been 5 weeks since we placed the order! Needless to say, we ordered our wallpaper from another online company and received our purchase within 5 days of ordering. Give them a big miss if your thinking of ordering anything from them!

emails was finally answered advising me that the refund will be processed. To date I have received nothing, after numerous reminders from me. I ordered the swatches in early March, order number 4696. The amount owing from them is $18.00, thankfully I didn't make an order in the $100's. However I am determined to get my refund, I have never been provided with the goods. Thankfully I have never come across such poor service when making online purchases. It is a shame there are 'suppliers' out there who treat their 'customers' so badly.

had to wait this long for a sample nor experienced such pathetic service. Go elsewhere for your wallpaper and fabric.
Do not buy – I ordered and paid for samples, not a lot of money, admittedly quite some time ago now. When they never arrived I tried to call and sent emails but did not get any response. I also could not get a refund owing to their lack of response. Do not buy from them.
Don't buy off them – Terrible service..... I also ordered samples, paid for and all...... still 2 months later, multiple calls and emails later still no one has contacted me. received all samples required and ordered fabrics. In this current market, I would have thought companies would want to encourage new business, not have bad reviews submitted.
