the clinic then said he was suicidal and Transferred to hospital. No call to his parents and we only find this out 10 hours later after calling Hader myself. Atrocious of Hader. Thinking he was sent away for a reason he denies. When correct dosage given by Geelong hospital he was fine. Hader never even bothered to check up on him or give him any information if he would be returning to Hader. Still not over the way he was treated by Hader. He had previously been there prior to this and was obviously put on the correct dosage by previous doctors and never had any issues This time it was a new doctor who treated him and would only prescribe the dosage he/she thought was correct. This needs to be checked out by Hader as dosage was obviously not working for him and after getting the correct amount in Hospital he was fine. Weeks after this incident I'm still seething. Also he is missing a number of belongings that were never sent with rest of his belongings. I have attempted on several occasions to find out where they are but got absolutely NOWHERE!! OBVIOUSLY NO ONE GIVES A DAMN ONCE YOUR NO LONGER THERE.

Thank you SO much for the warning!!!!! – Was looking for a rehab centre and came across The Hader Clinic. Boy am I glad I came across this review site. Watched the 4 Corners programme (still avail on You Tube). Thank you SO much for the warning!!!!!

Not Worth It – Took our money, promised the world with regards to family contact & support. Couldn't get hold of anyone more than once during my partners stay. Called for assistance post program and was told they couldn't help now that he wasn't there, not even advice. Terrible Place – Paid almost $20k for a 4-week program some 12 years ago. Effectively, there was no alcohol rehab program. Might as well have sat in a circle singing Kumbaya. Left after 3 days. Dump was between Melbourne & Geelong.

[Name Removed] has been working at Hader for a long time and getting away with this for a very long time. The manager of Hader Geelong [Name Removed] refused to do anything about it. He didn’t even inform [Name Removed] the owner. Instead, he sent [Name Removed] home without drug testing him to sweep it under the carpet as they were best friends Hader Clinic is not what it makes out to be. It is a terrible terrible facility dirty. The food is appalling for the amount of money you pay. We were eating sausages and bread and salad pasta it was just disgusting food. The kitchen at Geelong facility is so dirty I felt like having a shower every time I walk through it this food under the benches grime everywhere it’s disgusting the facility itself the carpets are all stained. It’s smells there’s mould in the rooms. It is a terrible environment to been is all you do while you’re there is go to NA an AA meetings there is no real clinicians working there. There’s no counselling services available. The couches are all ripped and broken the tables all loose there’s no commercial fridges to pleasure food in. It’s a disgusting, disgusting environment when I left, I was guaranteed a refund for the days remaining due to the fact that my safety was put risk [Name Removed], the owner and [Name Removed], one of the managers assured me via email that I would receive $18,537.13 I [Name Removed], one of the facility managers in Geelong sent me a legal binding contract to pay me at the month-end allowing five business days for processing of money. I got my lawyer to call him. My lawyer informed me that now [Name Removed] is not gonna pay due to the Optus information like Hader Clinic uses Telstra, they don’t have anything to do with Optus just another lie to prevent them from having to pay what they owe go anywhere else, but Hader Clinic any of their facilities they’re all the same are skinny person that’s been there. Most people leave worse than when they winning. Do not destroy your family lives by sending love ones Hader Clinic .

A prison – A terrible place. All about money, power over the inmates, and free work farm for the egotistical owner. Shared a room with 7 people. Cold as charity. Didn’t sleep for 2 weeks because of others detoxing.

Poor treatment of family and friends – Have experienced very aggressive staff while trying to contact my friend.. Very weird vibe. Seems to be very unprofessional and I doubt the Empathy of the staff. The whole place seems quite off.

Ripped off big time, I would not even rate it – Sent our son there too what a load of crap advertise chefs,nurses where was all this stuff. My son having panic attacks trying to find somebody to help him and only to get told to get back to bed isn’t that what he was in there for HELP, NO Nurses to monitor while on 80 mg of Valium a day, dirty, furniture falling to bits. HORRIBLE – Liars, dishonest, money hungry people that promise professional clinicians to support your loved ones. the day. All LIES. [Name Removed] was a smooth talker and NEVER once did he visit the clinic. The actual rehab clinic looks like a nursing home, run down, old... they don't care about the people struggling in there. Please stay away.

Just a money grabbing [Content Removed] – Raymond Hader clinic are not true to their contracts they DO NOT Honour them so please everyone I would NOT recommend them. Search 4 corners on ABC . They took $46.000.00 from me and charged extra for everything then did not honour their contract.I am not the only parent out there they have done this to and put their child in harms way.They have No Duty of Care what so ever.
