I’ve been trying a lot of different hair medications for a number of years including mosh and pilot. It wasn’t until I tried The Hairy Pill that I finally felt the typical symptoms that come with hair loss medication disappear and my hair is dark growing back in combination with micro needing THP has been a game changer.

Disappointed – After taking the Hairy Pill for about 20 days I ended up in the ED with serious stomach pains. I was tested for a series of other stomach related illness which were all ruled out. refund which was outright refused. Be very wary, if you have any side effects you will be pushed to continue on the medication and if you cannot tolerate it you will receive no money back on the 3 month prescription.
Didn't agree with me – I have seen high praise for this pill - if those reviews are genuine and unpaid, I say good for them! Enjoy your lion's mane! In this period of time I did grow some baby hairs along my hairline but not significant enough to continue due to the awful side affects and shedding that didn't quit (my temples took several months to grow back and only once I had stopped taking this pill). Before starting, you speak with one of their appointed doctors over the phone and discuss any medications you're on and any questions you may have. I disclosed every drug I was taking, however at the follow up appointment 3 months in, I told the doctor I felt not myself - moody, cranky and zero libido. I was told to "give it time" for my body to adjust and for him to tweak my dosage. I perservered for 8 mths. No significant hair growth and I felt off all the time so I stopped. Very disappointed.
My advice would be to speak with YOUR OWN DOCTOR about potential side affects, the active ingredient (which differs if you are a male or female - I am not allowed to mention either here), and any contraindications with medication you are on - i.e. to see if The Hairy Pill is right for you. The reason I say this is because you will speak with a random doctor each 3 months (no consistency in who is managing/monitoring you on a new drug you’ve introduced to your body) and one that not only does not know you, but you don’t know them either. (You can however make a phone appointment to speak with a doctor at any time and the wait time was not long. But again, I'd still say speak with your regular GP, not one of their randomly appointed ones).
I wanted to say the customer service was superb and cannot fault them at all.
Overall I would say if you are interested in trying it, speak with your own GP and that way you can make a better informed decision.

The shedding is SEVERE – The pharmacist who called me warned me that there might be some shedding but I lost so much hair in the first six weeks that I had to stop the treatment. This treatment works – There really isn’t much out there for women unless you go to a clinic. I don’t have the time or money to see specialists, so tried this. And I can actually see a change. No positive results – My personal experience is super negative unfortunately. If you trust the reviews you really expect at least a small positive change over the course of taking this pill. I'm in on my 10 month now and I have had none such experience. In fact I now actually have less hair than compared to when I started. properly as without the shedding I’d forget to take it. That was about a year ago and my hair is still thick and amazing and I have little to no shedding. Don’t wait. Get this NOW. It really works. And here is my hair comparison after as proof. The pic on the right is my before shot, you can see right through the hair and there is nothing at the back of my head.
2024 Update - I am back on the Hairy pill. After the year of no shedding and no Hairy Pill all of a sudden my hair started to shed again and it was quite a lot of shedding so in a panic I started taking it again. I have been taking it ever since and my hair is even thicker now, it has become a running joke with my friends, those who always had the thickest hair now are far behind my luscious locks.
