Thin Lizzy Real Complexion Cream Questions & Answers

I hope you get an answer from Thin Lizzy, see my review on the product unfortunately I didn't receive any response. I had it on overnight (by itself) and I still looked like a toy doll - marbled white face in the morning, I tried this for a while and no difference. It's not versatile either it feels like a tacky product I was unable to mix it with anything like a serum nor wear it under make up, it pilled (like a gluey peeling consistency). I have no idea how this product even received reviews on the the thin lizzy website?

Yes, it’s really strange. If the cream is made with the same ingredients why does it leave a white residue on some faces. I have used various kinds of moisturisers and this has never happened before. I think I will call Thin Lizzy and ask them if some batches are defective.

I've just used this product and from what I have read you only need a very small amount, which I did do and it was fine on me, however I do have fair skin, and I saw some comment on facebook that this can happen if your olive skinned?

Thank you and you are probably right. I too use very little. It is a rather dry product and dries up instantly once applied. I use a light moisturiser over it and then apply my make up and it sort of comes out okay. One good thing is that my face does not appear too sweaty even after an intense Power or Blast gym class. There are some good things about it and I am learning how to balance out the white residue look.

I too have started using it. I am darker skinned and find the white residue odd and annoying. I don't use much either. However, i put it on then let it dry then go back later with a bit of water to spread out the patchy parts which evens it all out but makes me look a little pale. I don't know if there's a secret to using it, I guess I'll learn. I do love the consistency and how it glides on though so for now I'll persevere. The pump didn't work so I contacted Thin Lizzy immediately who sent me a free one.

That’s funny isn’t it? Whatever the colour of one’s complexion a white residue is a white residue. Just because it isn’t visible on fairer skin doesn’t mean there is no residue. I have to use some moisturiser to get it balanced out as I find the cream quickly drying up on my skin and so far I don’t see any great improvement of my skin either. I will keep using it and hopefully I will have a positive feedback sometime later.

The thin lizzy brightening cream is the worst product on its own, it leaves a white residue over the face. Additional cream would exacerbate the problem. I bought the cream on sale a 2 for 1 deal, I could not even give it away it end up in the bin.

The sunscreen in the ingredient list is Titanium external link . It may have some sun protection added but probably not enough to claim itself as a sunscreen.

I, personally use the cream at night. I use a separate product with sunscreen during the day. During the day, dot and blend along upper checkbones. It is a lovely highlighter.
