Timex unreliable watch does not keep time! – What a great disappointment this watch has been, I wanted to buy myself a simple reliable durable watch, I did not want a cheap Chinese Ebay watch, I wanted a known and trusted brand, but something simple and reliable, A solid watch that simply told me the time, I searched for such watches and came across the Timex Expedition Indigo watch (green face) now I am an older man, I have been around for a while, I was raised on advertising stating; Timex "it takes a licking and keeps on ticking" this was to show how tough and reliable these watchers were, a brand built and marketed on this philosophy, I purchased the watch directly from Timex US, and it was shipped to me in Australia, the watch was bought on the 17/11/2023 it is now 12 months old, from the very start the watch simply, stops after the indigo (light button) is pushed, it does not keep accurate time at all, I consider that a pretty basic function of a watch, I am Constantly re setting the time, this makes the watch virtually useless, I can guess the time better by looking at the sun, now, I did mention this to Timex, but the hassle of having to send the watch back overseas, paying for shipping, then waiting, then they saying it's fine, getting the watch back and have it do the same thing over and over again, just does my head in, and at the end of the day, why should I? I paid the money and bought a (what I thought was) quality watch from a well-known brand company, I mean seriously, I could have got the same results from a $10 Ebay Chinese watch, Very disappointed to say the least, I won't go into details, but this watch was a present to myself, and it has soured my experience with Timex, a brand I was literally raised with my entire life, only to find out I was lied to, these watches are as reliable and tough as wet paper bag.
