Good watch – I brought this watch for two reasons. 1) I wanted a decent watch that was easy to set & kept good time, & that would last 2) I wanted a watch where I could replace the band, I previously had those watches with the plastic strap, they break within 12 months & you can't replace them, at least everywhere I asked said it can't be done. They were not cheap either & the cost of having watch after watch in my drawer, all still working without bands was to much.

This watch is easy to read, even in low light as the hands are luminous. The only drawback is that the date is hard to read, as its quite small, but now we all have smartphones who cares, I just use that

Excellent watch for the price. Great features, great aesthetics – So I wanted a new watch. My requirements were: analogue only, chronograph, alarm, leather band, no more than $150.00, and it had to look good. Tall order, so I got stuck into some serious shopping. Over a period of about 3 weeks I must have visited every jewelery store within a reasonable driving distance, as well as a few other places that also stocked a decent range. In the midst of it all I found this little gem.

I didn't buy it the first time I tried it on, mostly because it felt quite heavy on the wrist, but also because I couldn't figure out how to operate all of it's features in the short amount of time that it seems reasonable to spend engaged with a sales assistant while 6 other people are waiting to be served. I really wanted to factor the experience of using a particular watch into the equation. But I was definitely impressed with it nonetheless so I kept it in mind while I looked for other options, returning to it for another look more than once.

In the end I couldn't find a better watch for the price. In fact to be perfectly honest, I didn't even encounter an obviously better watch that I was tempted to exceed my budget on, which is something that happens to me all the time if I really think something is worth it. So after knuckling down and doing some google research to get a better sense of it's feature set, I finally decided that this was the watch for me, and I am extremely pleased with the purchase. At $149.95 from Beville Jewellers (the only retailer I encountered that actually sells it) with a 3 year warranty, you really do get fantastic bang for your buck. Stop watch, easy set alarm function, nice backlight feature, leather band, fantastic overall looks. It's a heavy watch, which might bother some people, but you get used to it. In my opinion it's worth it for the features that Timex have packed into this thing.
