Timex Expedition Titanium E-Compass

Poor watch – Soon after purchase about six months ago the watch calendar began losing the correct date. Shortly after that the electronic compass began pointing anywhere but north. I thought that these faults were probably just a low battery and so I took the watch to a large jewellers to have the battery replaced. They informed me that they were unable to replace the battery due to an inability to access it due to the watch's design.

I sent Timex Australia an email about two weeks ago requesting advice but they haven't even bothered answering.
